@21st Century Moose Yes, I pretty much completely agree with you there. I wouldn't have minded 2 seasons with 10 episodes each. My main concern was rushing EVERYTHING.

In my personal opinion, the ending was just lazy and stupid. I would have done the same and destroyed the Iron Throne as I always liked the theory of no one sitting there in the end. I would have had Westeros return to the Seven Kingdoms with 7 separate independent rulers (Why the hell would Yara bend the knee to Bran?!)

They could have slowed things down and created development which would explain why they ended it where they did and why it ended the way it did, rather than just throwing a heap of s**t at us in the last 2 episodes as a massive curve-ball so that no one would predict what happened
