Andy, Mitch and Big Dick Nick, all in one room. What could go wrong?

So Andy the red rocket, resting dick face Mitch and Big Dick Nick all on the same team?!?!?!? Sound about right to me.

Things are starting to look a lot worse for Deshaun Watson.  Up to three accusers now and the two newer ones allege some actual criminal conduct.

The lawyer said three more women may come forward.

It sure seems like it is right out of the Owners/Executives playbook as described in Draymond Green's "Bad Behavior" conversation.  The team wants to make the player look bad, so they plant stories about the player they want to trade.

And Draymond's point is a good one, in that you can think of player after player to whom this has happened, and this story is right down the middle of that same scenario.

To me it just seems to show that the teams that do this sort of thing are run by idiots, as a rational economic consumer would want to increase, not decrease the value of a trade asset, and by using stalking horses to run down their players, the teams are reducing their value in any future trade.

Not to mention that players aren't just blinking sheep in all this. They talk to each other, and certain organizations develop a reputation for screwing players over.  Which isn't great for signing or resigning free agents.

Yeah... some of those posts haven’t aged well in the last couple of days.  I’m starting to think this doesn’t end well for Watson.

Yep, as I was typing an earlier post you added one of these and I stopped to look at it before posting mine and had to erase an entire paragraph about how all he did was ask for a hand... I should know better by now to wait for a week or two before commenting on this crap.

It's easy to see why people reacted the way they did to the first accusation, as it really didn't even posit that he did anything illegal.  When you couple that with the lawyer's ties to the McNair family and given their ongoing saga with Watson, it definitely seemed like a smear attempt right out of the gate.

The choice of lawyer is still very dubious to me, but the other two accusations are far more serious and need to be thoroughly investigated.  I'm still curious why any credible lawyer would take on a case where he has such a clear conflict of interest, though.  This is the type of thing I'd imagine most lawyers would pass on to another associate at their law firm or to a friend who is highly qualified in working cases of this nature, as I believe Buzbee is mostly known as an ambulance chaser personal injury type.

I read one of the guy's statements the other day and was forcefully reminded of Michael Avenatti. So I'll

1) See if there's any kind of evidence. Some appointment slip, perhaps, proving these women were called upon?

2) Doesn't matter anyway. Like at all. He could have raped half of Texas. He's a top-shelf superstar.

Well, maybe. If they were white women he might be done.

Oh yeah the lawyer is absolutely a huge piece of shit.  It only took the initial Instagram post where he accused Watson and all the loaded language he used for me to see that.  Still, that conflict of interest will almost certainly come up if this ever goes to trial.

Also, fun side note...this lawyer is the guy who put up the billboards around Houston urging the Texans to draft none other than Johnny Manziel.

Trubisky signs with the Bills...

Anyway, I really don't get the premise that this Watson stuff is all a smear job engineered by the Texans for..what exactly?  Spite?  You're gonna kill his trade value for spite?  Are the Texans owned by the Trumps?

Google Jack Easterby. Smoke a bowl while you read. It's fucking great.

I'm familiar with Easterby.  I stand by my statement.

Especially considering the timing of this.  Can't help but be reminded of the Yankees trading for Aroldis Chapman for peanuts because his abuse was fresh and then trading him for Gleyber Torres seven months later because no one cared anymore.

With past references to go on, I think it's not at all crazy to look at this a little side-eyed. I ain't saying these women are liars. Never met them. Never met Watson. All I know is there's a vindictive scorpion man pulling the strings of a billionaire in close proximity to Watson. It makes me giggle. I won't apologize for it.

I'd never expect you to apologize for finding something amusing.

Just doesn't make sense to me is all.  Don't see why they wouldn't simply trade him AND THEN smear him.

'Cause they're crazy!

Fair enough.  When I asked "are the Texans owned by the Trumps," you could've just responded "basically, yes."

Try and pretzel your brain into their clown shoes for a sec. "Maybe if we nuke his value he won't be able to go nowhere but here."

If they were trying to keep him why did they give Tyrod Taylor $12 million?  Again, if you're saying they're crazy, can't argue with that.  But it's rather impossible to rationalize this otherwise.
