The lack of love for DBZ in this thread is offensive!

DBZ was mostly on Adult Swim, and I never had much of interest in Adult cartoons/animes. Not to mention, they were on when I was in bed. Thus I never really watched in my childhood

Let's see, which ones can I remember right now... Beginning with technically not-cartoons, but still "animated" kids shows:

Sesame Street

Muppets

Fraggle Rock

Paddington

An ungodly amount of Looney Tunes - Merry Melodies

Same for Hanna-Barbera cartoons (Scooby Doo / Yogi Bear / Wally Gator / Tom and Jerry / Flintstones)

Mr Magoo

Danger Mouse

Dr Snuggles

Battle of the Planets

He-Man / She-Ra

Dungeons and Dragons

GI Joe

Thundercats

Smurfs

Ulysses 31

Mysterious Cities of Gold

Inspector Gadget

I don't think I can include Japanese animes in "my childhood" category, they mostly came late around (at least compared to their Japanese's releases).

Dr Snuggles was as creepy as the name suggests

That is so great to hear. I need to seek this show out.

Doctor Snuggles builds the humanoid robot Mathilda Junkbottom as a help to Miss Nettles. Miss Nettles is not happy of her mechanical assistant but given a new chance after almost ruining Snuggles house by flooding it, Nettles and Mathilda form a friendship.

I need to know more about Mathilda Junkbottom. For science.

Voiced by the great Peter Ustinov! This show used to give me nightmares. No joke.

Why does he move around on a fucking pogo stick? Why does he have a badger as a helper? Why does the opening song suggest he is dreaming of a better future? Is he living in a post apocalyptic distopia?
