Mrstrategy Posted May 30, 2021 Share Posted May 30, 2021 Why was the garrison/gold cloak's of Kings landing so small for the population since they are outnumber 250 to 1 by its population Of 500000 when it's size is of 2000 and 83 to 1 just in kings landing and when it's increased to 6000 and even worse a lot of them are probably not capable of actually fighting a trained men at arms and/or likely to desert when actual fighting start or when leadership withdraw as show in Battle of the Blackwater when Joffrey withdraw from the walls the gold cloak's broke and even killed their Lord commander when he tried to get them to return to the walls and worse under Slynt leadership gold cloak's were promoted or given positions due to the position being given dye to bribes and not due to merit or trustworthiness or Skill Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
