This has bothered me many years, ever since learning about Jackie Robinson and Thorpe in our amazing elementary school library.

Even as a pre teen I sensed the gravity of the injustice that was dealt to Thorpe and his medal stripping.

Now all these years past, finally Thorpe has been reinstated and officially recognized. The injustice and indignity should have never happened.

It was long past the time for this.

ETA: The Olympics now looks quite a bit less foolish than it has for these 112 years, Bravo Zulu!

How low can this 20 year old wonder girl drive the time? She and her coach believe she can go even faster and hasn't peeked yet.
