Aaaaarg, I am working on Sunday and should have worked on Saturday, too.

It’s going to be club soda on my Tuesday date, and half an hour, if I’m lucky.

F*ck.

Edit: Blah. That was ruder than I meant it to be.

You are strong.  You got this.

No worries on whatever it was you said before, I probably deserved it.

I’m strong, I got this, and I Can Do It.

What are you looking to actually get done there?  Had a date a few months ago with a med tech on the overnight shift who was about 35 and 5'11" and was also about to finish nursing school in the day time and she yawned almost constantly through the 2 drinks before I called no mas.

We weren't hitting it off, but based on her work schedule and when she agreed to meet, I'd have to be rich as Croesus, handsome as a Clooney, at least as funny as Gary Coleman, and as tall as mcbigski to make that work.

Well, this isn’t an “internet date” so it’s not a first meeting. I no longer use apps. I met him spontaneously at a restaurant we both like.

So, the meeting will be more about “is there really chemistry” and god, I hope so, because statistically rare is the 31 year-old who can’t get it up (notwithstanding the fact that I tend to make men of all ages go limp).

If I am dying and look like a corpse on Monday, I’ll shove this meeting off until the weekend.

Good news - I did not look like a corpse by EOD Monday, so went on my date on Tuesday. I was nice. I kissed him. We will go on a second date.

Don't worry everyone, the robots are here to fulfill our sexual needs.

That Rick and Morty episode was great tho. I ought to catch up on that show again.

For you, I'd turn necro. As we all would.

Somehow I always wanted to get this quote into a conversation, and yes, it's surprisingly difficult. Anybody who knows from where I got this, give yourself tull ten horse points.

Just use Dunmer instead of Dwemer. Same number of syllables, you avoid the question whether dwarves are elves (they are in ES lore I think, but then again Orsimer are technically elves, too no?), and they aren't extinct. And they are the most fun  race in Elder Scrolls anyway.

But I am curious how that guy managed to do that.

Yeah, but aren't those Dunmer accents a bit of a turnoff? Plus, y'know, Bosmer are all rebellious and wild.

So I had a guy on hinge use elves, ELVES, to segue into talking about his dick

I mean, is there a good way to segue into talking about your dick?

You asked about my user name?

The treehuggers? Nah, I prefer the sarcastic, ever feuding misantropic/misanmeric Dunmer. Besides elves as master archers, is there anything more stereotypical? Give me sword wielding dunmer with destruction spells any day of the week.

I mean, I hope it goes something like “Anyway’ like I was saying…there’re two words that describe my favorite fantasy race, and my dick: willowy and aloof”

Lets just say he didn’t ACTUALLY want to talk about wood elves

My takeaway from the last few posts.

More people need to actually read the books within the Elder Scroll games.

It’s very attractive.

Oh…you’ve read the Lusty Argonian Maid too? *flutters eyelashes*
