The hairy bear
IF Elia used moon tea to abort royal princes, she would be committing high treason. If she ever got discovered, it would mean the death of her and everyone who helped her or knew about it. She might have better chances giving birth. And why would the Iron Throne worsen its relationship with Dorne to the point of breaking the cord? Seems to me like the Iron Throne would be just itching for big Dornish War number 3, Daeron edition. @Daemon The Black Dragon Quote She didn't, thats my point.. Moon tea was around during Naerys time, was it not? Probably as available to Naerys as it would be to Elia, no? Both Naerys and Elia are basically told the same thing, another pregnancy could kill them, right? Just because Moon tea is around and available to Elia, like it was Naerys. Doesn't mean Elia would take it, does it.. The argument being that since one person didn't take Moon Tea for this or that reason... No one will do it... Come on now that's a non argument, there's a slight difference, Naerys cave in to her husband, we don't really know why. Whereas Rhaegar was told that the oven was closed. Unless Elia and Naerys shared a brain, what she did is immaterial when talking about the steps Elia may have been willing to take. Cersei would not die and she more than willingly took it. nyser1
While royal households are not normal households, children do pick up on their parents’ behavior. I imagine Rhaegar had an idea if not direct exposure to all forms of abusive behavior stemming from Aerys.

Really? Aegon duty was only to the older sister, Visenya, but he still married the younger one, Rhaenys, and even spent more nights with her showing his clear preference for her over Visenya. Even after Rhaenys death his preference for her go on. Aegon dedicated most of his attention to Aenys over Maegor. His second son spent most of his time alone with his mom in Dragonstone, Visenya raised him alone. So yes, Visenya was treated with some brutality, having a dragon didn't do much for her on this case.
