maarsen
We had our Thanksgiving last month up here in Canada. I hope yours is a great one.
HoodedCrow
I prefer to eat them:) We had a special pastry blender just to make the dough “ crumbs” to form a ball, and then I was instructed to take it easy with the rolling pin! Lard or cold butter is best:)
HoodedCrow
Annoying songs: Winchester Cathedral and The Night Chicago Died. Trying to choose, but I will play both:)
RhaenysBee
If you ever feel like a misfortunate loser, remember that I just tore off half my thumbnail with a mini chocolate wrap.I would not have thought this event had mathematical probability. And I don’t pretend to understand the physics of it. But my nail is bleeding and hanging loose so it really must have happened. Stupid chocolate. HoodedCrow
Thumbnail huts. Sorry for RhaensBee! Here is the worst Thanksgiving side not made by me. I was asked by a very nice hostess, if her traditions, family recipe, was good or gross. I was told to be honest( oh,oh) it was green Jell- O, with canned shrimp, green olives with pimento… cut in half, and shredded carrot, all molded together. The worst part was being asked. HoodedCrow
Yes!. The rest was great. I think it was a pantry recipe, but tell people that it is a family tradition…it is the sugary lime Jell-0 that makes it sing
Fragile Bird
Ed Sheeran has done a special 20 minute concert, just him and his guitar, for Pokémon Go players and it was the first time I’ve ever really listened to his songs. And oh hell, I’ve become a big fan. The last time I paid any attention to him was when he sang on Game of Thrones.
HoodedCrow
I like Ed Sheeran. Glad that he did the gig on the show, except…
Mr. Chatywin et al.
Going back to a prior conversation, still not a big fan of straight coffee, but mocha lattes are good!
BigFatCoward
One of my school friends got married yesterday after 26 years with the same man. I mean, what's the point after all that time?

Sheeran has some decent tunes, most I'm mostly meh about, but he could put out banger after banger till the end of time and it still wouldn't be enough to make up for the war crime that is Galway Girl. Or his watch collection. For a little ginge nerd he went full on gangster rapper with his vulgar Richard Mille collection.
Spockydog
Sheeran is an affront to music. Absolutely baffled by his success. People are stupid.
Inkdaub
I've never heard Ed Sheeran that I am aware of. The Four Seasons Total Landscaping mini-documentary is on again. These people are very personable and engaging in a mellow way.

Think Ron Weasley cosplaying Dashboard Confessional, but with extra-creepy lyrics, and you'll be somewhere in the ballpark.
