A Horse Named Stranger
First Bundesliga manager firing of the season. And the award goes to... ...Mark van Bommel, VfL Wolfsburg. I was surprised how he got the jo in the first place, the loss against Freiburg (the fourth in a row) was just one too many apparently. If you had asked me for first sacking of the season, I'd have picked Dardai (Hertha BSC).
Soylent Brown
2-0, but United have looked sharp when they've had the opportunity to counter.

Soylent Brown
Robertson has been pretty poor recently. I wouldn't mind seeing Tsimikas being given more games.

Soylent Brown
Milner off injured. That's tended to happen the last few years, whenever he's had a run in the side.
MercenaryChef
has man united considered signing a few more Cristianos? this is comically embarrassing.
A Horse Named Stranger
United in for a spanking it seems. In other news. In El Classico Real have made it 2-0 in injury time. Edit: 2-1 Aguero (90+7!). But too little too late. Real has won El Classico.

ljkeane
That’s another terrible goal defensively. The wheels have really come off for United.
Corvinus85
haha. I expect United to be better in the 2nd half because that's been the pattern for several games now, but they're not coming back from 4 goals down.

Don't tempt fate! 4-0 is almost as dangerous a lead as 3-0!
Iskaral Pust
I’m glad Liverpool stung them for a fourth after their little blitz of thuggery. Another MF injury for Liverpool, and Jones looking sloppy in possession as he came on. We’re looking threadbare there. I still think a replacement for Gini was a bigger priority than Konate this summer.
AncalagonTheBlack
We're 4 goals up at Old Trafford, even i'm a bit shocked , wonder what the UTD fans are feeling.
A Horse Named Stranger
Question for our United fans. What's United's highest home defeat (modern day and historically)? And what was the highest derby defeat they suffered against Liverpool? I am assuming Liverpool want to put the nail into another United manager's coffin. This could get very ugly from United point of view.

Nah, Liverpool need to ease off now ahead of a tougher game at Preston midweek.

It may seem that way with Konate at the moment, but you know what our centre backs are like.
