But after reading the story, he may be the rare example of it actually being justified. Apparently his ex broke into his house, used Mace on him, stole his gun and held him at gun point until he disarmed her. We'll see where this goes... Sounds like she committed a lot of felonies that night and Cook was not the only person she attacked. *So now this part seems to be in dispute. Initial reports were she said he didn't attack her until after she attacked him, but now her side is claiming she was beaten after she broke in. briantw Posted November 10, 2021 Share Posted November 10, 2021 Schefter is probably like most of these guys that break sports news. They occasionally do favors for agents in exchange for getting inside information before anyone else. Woj is notorious for penning hit pieces as favors to agents, and as a result he's always one of the first to hear about major NBA news.
