Most terrifying scene in ASOIAF

It begins to sing and dances into the fireplace.

thank you for sharing your nightmare. I was going to bed early tonight.. I suppose I shan't.

Jeyne Poole. Ramsay Snow. And whatever it was he got her to do with his dogs. That scene was more disturbing than anything I read up to that point.

Arya’s escape from the Red Keep in GOT.  Not the most terrifying but this chapter always has me on the edge of my seat.  It has Syrio’s last stand and Arya’s first step onto a painful and violent journey.

- Hound in Sansa’s room

- Bran’s last chapter in Dance (creepy vibe) 

- Brienne’s last chapter in Feast

- Birth of the Shadow Baby

- Reek

In one of the last chapters of the first novel, Mirri Maaz Duur called on dark spirits and summoned them inside Drogo's tent.  She was using tricks and illusions or they were real.  It is scary if you believe it was real.  It means black magic and evil spirits exist.

That was pretty darn scary, especially the line "Mirri Maz Duur was dancing, and not alone." Plus, afterwards we learn the result of the spell.
