DireWolfSpirit
Regards Country icon Loretta Lynn's passing- I never realised Crystal Gayle was her younger sister (known best for "Dont it Make My Brown Eyes Blue). What a talented Kentucky family.
Ran
RIP Austin Stoker -- died on the 7th but I think news only got around just now. May not be well-remembered, but he had one great role and that was enough: Lieutenant Bishop in John Carpenter's Assault on Precinct 13 (accept no substitutes!) Here's a cool video about the film featuring him talking about it:

Ran
I never really watched the Potter films, so mostly I remember him from his role in GoldenEye ... and his turn as Samuel Johnson in the Blackadder series 3 episode, "Ink and Incapability": dog-days
Deadlines? What Deadlines?
I'm trying to remember the first film I saw him in. All I remember is he was shopping for a getaway car and he didn't like Italian cars because they rust. R.I.P. ETA: He also introduced me to the term, " Edinburgh socket set". Mr. Chatywin et al.
Oof, that's a punch in the gut. I'm the same age as the lead kid actors and grew up on the HP movies and books. Thanks for so many memories, Robbie! Mark Antony
GallowKnight
That's sad news. To me the definitive role I'll always associate with Robbie Coltrane i his Russian mobster from Goldeneye and The World is Not Enough. Not a major role in either film, but well memorable. Ormond
Leslie Jordan has died, at what seems to me the way too young age of 67. I guess most people would know him best for his role in "Will and Grace". Among gay men my age he may be almost as well known for his role as "Brother Boy" in the 2000 film "Sordid Lives", which has become one of the most beloved gay comedies. I personally remember him best playing a character in "Southern Baptist Sissies", a DVD of a filmed stage play which I think is one of the best presentations of what life was like just a few years ago for young gay men in fundamentalist Protestant churches. This makes me very sad. Leslie Jordan, versatile Emmy-winning actor, dies at 67 (omaha.com)

According to his Wikipedia page, he was accused of possibly killing his 5th wife, though nothing was ever proven. I'm reading the "personal life" section of his wikipedia page. Doesn't take a lot of work to draw up a huge list of stars from that period we'd jail today.
