dbunting
Melinda Dillon passed. She was the little kids mom in Close Encounters and the mom in A Christmas Story, those are what I remember her from anyway. Looks like she passed in January but is just now being reported. DireWolfSpirit
Raquel the definition of iconic. Aged so gracefully, I cant count how many times I heard the comments of disbelief that she could maintain such beauty for decades. She was the finest of fine wines, call it fountain of youth, age defying or whatever you may, she had a certain magnetism that was legendary and it spanned a generation. dbunting
Barbara Bosson, who played Fay Furillo on Hill St Blues died. She was in plenty of other shows but I remember her as the ex wife of Ray on that show. Not a good week for tv police/DA's

DireWolfSpirit
Gary Rossington, founding member and guitarist of the iconic Southern rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd, has died. He was 71. Skynyrd was pretty much American Rock royalty in the 70's. Rossington was the last one left of the founding members. Deadlines?
