A Horse Named Stranger
Oh those fucking donkeys. Now that they are out of the promotion race, and miss half a dozen player with covid, they start to beat fucking Schalke, who are topping the league. That collection of donkeys is so infuriating. And they give away a silly penalty at the start of the second half. That's more like it.
Soylent Brown
The only player I'd criticise after that half is Salah, who still seems to be hesitating a little on the ball on the back of his run of bad form. There were a couple of occasions that he perhaps could have shot a little quicker.
polishgenius
Can't waste your chances like this when you're playing against a superior attack.
Soylent Brown
Second half Liverpool going down the left a bit more to allow TAA to move central, which has become a habit this season.

A Horse Named Stranger
And 2-2 now. Basically this season in a nutshell. Good first half, and throwing it away in the second.

A Horse Named Stranger
And 3-2 for Schalke now. Like I said. this season in a nutshell. Edti: and a red, deservedly so. I think I'll rather swatch Pool-Spurs. That game at least annoys somebody else.
The Sunland Lord
If this result stays, both top4 and champions are probably locked.

Soylent Brown
Salah has been awful yet again. The concern is that he's going to cost us the CL final, given that he'll stink through every minute of it.

Ah, sorry, you are of course correct. For some reason I had Spurs one point ahead of Arsenal, instead of Arsenal being one point ahead of Spurs. Iskaral Pust
Disappointing result but the league title very likely wasn’t happening anyway. The Spurs parked bus was very effective and we weren’t sharp enough with final balls. I think fatigue caught up with Liverpool at last, especially up front. Salah and Jota have been in poor form for a while. The players seemed stuck in the same unproductive patterns, and didn’t have a spark to create something different. Perhaps Origi would have been a better choice sub, although his super sub impact is a coin toss. Should we just rest players now ahead of the two finals? Raja
Liverpool. You had one job to do. To be fair, if we want 4th, we need to do it ourselves as opposed to relying on others.
