The next direwolf to die will be

It will be sad all around. Jon deserved what he received from Bowen Marsh and the dedicated men of the watch. But Ghost should not be held to account for what Jon did. Too bad Ghost will be hostile towards the men and might not give them any choice. If someone like Tollett can let him out and let him escape, yeah, as long as Ghost runs to the forests there is no need to hurt him.

You are really earnest

Arya has done a lot of bad things and Nymeria is still kicking.

Very true. Jon and Arya are the worst of the Starks and their wolves are still kicking.  It could be that the wolves die when the Starks betray the North.  Which Robb did when he executed Rickard Karstark and hooked up with Jeyne Westerling.  He put the North in danger by betraying a key ally in Walder Frey.  The Starks are not honorable.  They are savages.  But they are expected to act in such a way as to serve the North.  When they don't, it is a betrayal of the wolves who are creatures of the North.  Sansa supported/backed Joffrey's lie and betrayed the Northern lad.  Little Mycah's death is partly her fault.  By this reasoning, Ghost is the next to die because Jon betrayed the North, the Watch, and Westeros.

While the rest of the post is ridiculous as well, this sentence really stands out in its sheer absurdity. Perhaps Cersei called Sandor on his cell phone and asked him to kill Mycah when she heard Sansa's lie?

Where is the evidence that Jon and Arya will betray the North? I would really like to know.

Karstark betrayed the North by killing captives. Robb had to respond somehow. Executing Karstark for his crime is not betrayal. The Freys are not a northern house so he's not betraying the North when he breaks the marriage agreement.

Robb expected that things could be smoothed over with an alternative marriage alliance offer. He could not expect the Red Wedding.

Much like Daenerys then. One could argue she's way more dishonourable and savage than the Starks.

We don't know whether Mycah was a northerner or not, and he was likely already dead before Sansa said anything. Also, she said she couldn't remember anything, so she wasn't supporting anyone's lie.

Jon did none of those things so Ghost will be perfectly fine.

Summer has the lesser chance of surviving.

That's canon, even the white ravens have flown, winter has come. See? Even Westeros suffers from climate change.

Oh if you meant the wolf, fat chance.

If the wolves are supposed to die when the Starks 'betray' someone, then it follows that the dragons will die when Daenerys 'betrays' someone. The three treasons actually refer to three betrayals Daenerys will commit - one for each dragon death.

Treason for blood = death of Rhaegal

Treason for gold = death of Viserion

Treason for love = death of Drogon

Sansa is the next of the Starks to die.  I am convinced now that Ghost will live until the last chapters of the last book.  Ghost is how Jon Snow will return from death.  Bowen and the Crows killed Jon and he will come back inside Ghost.  He can come back as a wight with his mind inside Ghost but his body is not going to last long.  Either way, Ghost is what Jon will be.

Why do you think so?

Melisandre's vision of seeing Jon as a man, then a wolf, then a man again implies that he'd return to his body after being resurrected.

See kids? This is called textual evidence. This is how you support an argument.  Without support from the text, theories are just fan fiction.

Thank you GMantis.
