Interesting backstory on Andrew and family.

"Eileen brought up the pair’s three children in the relative property after moving to Bedfordshire, England. At that time, Andrew was only 11 years old."

"Andrew said, “I was raised by a single mother in England. I wouldn’t call my mother particularly nice or soft. In fact, my mother was mean and hard.”

“I usually saw my dad about once a year when he would visit and I remember one time they had a massive argument.”

Well, if you squint really hard that could be an acronym I guess.

Nevertheless, the point stands: once the Gretas are aligned against you, kiss your ass goodbye.

In my brain, Romanian law enforcement is seaching his home and pocketing all the good booze. They're seizing Tate's car collection as I write this.

Also interesting is a (numerologist, if you can believe it) guy on Twitter named @findgg33 who claimed (based on unidentified law enforcement sources over two months ago) that Andrew would be arrested by late 2022 or early 2023 due to pressure against the Romanian government to act. More, that the claim was associated with the American girl who was allegedly exploited back in APR 2022, which likely triggered the USG's initial point of interest.

Add in Greta's international reach and what seems to be a direct connection between the Greta-Andrew timeline and his subsequent arrest, it's not impossible that Andrew was a high value target for at least two national governments and one or more moneyed interest groups. If true (however unlikely), he apparently pissed off quite a few global elites.

Well, really. You can't be crass about it.

JGP -- likely, Andrew's second biggest error; that is, taking on the role of a celebrity (e.g., he was on a show called Big Brother). His biggest error -- playing the game at the global level despite being a small fish surrounded by much larger sharks.

Going back to this Emory was by all accounts an alcoholic, which is why his marriage fell apart and his wife moved back to England with the kids. So yeah, that massive argument between his parents probably really happened.

Anyway, there's a story of an expert level player challenging Emory to play a few blitz games for money. The expert felt this was a good idea, because Emory was clearly intoxicated and had a bottle of whiskey in hand. He invited spectators to join the show hustling the great Emory Tate out of money. The story went like this,  Emory poured himself glass after glass, while cleaning out that big mouth. In the end the other guy had to walk away in humiliation with Tate yelling after him to come back, when he had the money to play some more.

There might be some exaggeration in this tale, as stories tend grow over time, but I have little doubt that a drunk Emory Tate hustled some big mouthed moron out of his money is true.

This made me laugh so hard it took me back to when I ate an eighth of shrooms before a comedy movie and melted into my theater seat.

Feel like that critic rediscovering Ratatouille, but lol

Watch the bottom clip first:

The death of Louis XVI
The Observer, 27 January 1793

Paris, Tuesday, 22 January
Yesterday, between 10 and 11 o’clock in the morning, the unfortunate Louis XVI, suffered decapitation in the Square of the Revolution, formerly called Place Louis XV. The mournful procession set out from the Temple a little after eight o’clock. The royal victim sat in the mayor’s carriage, with his confessor by his side, praying very fervently, and two captains of the National Light-Horse on the front seat. The carriage was drawn by two black horses, preceded by the mayor, General Santerre, and other municipal officers. One squadron of horse, with trumpeters and kettle drums, led the van of the melancholy convoy; three heavy pieces of ordnance, with proper implements, and cannoneers with lighted matches, went before the vehicle, which was escorted on both sides by a treble row of troopers. ....
