This thread describes what is happening to teachers in Florida.  For fucks sake, have to ask permission to read a book aloud?  That and the reasons mentioned above.  No wonder.

Read the three posts in this thread, it's @#$%^&*()_@@@!!!!

It is extremely interesting. You’d think books like Fahrenheit 451 and the almost universal mandatory reading of it in US would teach people you shouldn’t impose or  accept these types of restrictive actions. Most of these kids will end up reading that book and learn about effects and harm when books are banned or there’s literature censorship, wherever this censorship is coming from (parents, government, public schools district management etc). Truly upsetting.

Ron “the Dictator” Desantis is having an event in Miami.  Tickets are free and first come first serve.  Wouldn’t it be a shame if they sold out but no one came:

K-Pop fans, your time has come (again).

Someone has to say it. No one else seems willing to do so.

It's clear the world is changing. The climate has altered towards nature's wrath. It seems clear to me that there's only one thing we can do to preserve our way of life. We have to DESTROY NATURE

before it destroys us...

Yeah!

We must take out nature before it takes us out!

AND DON'T TEACH THEM TO READ IN THE FIRST PLACE!  IT'S TOO DANGEROUS!

Ability to read makes recruiting suicide bombers hard. The former is way too dangerous.

Speaking of penises... I just expanded my vocab: BDE! Because that's what Keri Lake told her fans in public what TFG and DeSatan  have! Ah, American politics. Never a dull moment.

Isn’t that big dick envy?  Pretty sure it is.

Big dick envy describes DeSantis. What else can you call a guy who continually sets up strawmen to fight and then loses.

So, he gets a cushy plea deal and doesn't have to flip. How convenient.

Trump Organization chief expected to plad guilty in tax evasion case
Allen Weisselberg has been accused of taking more than $1.7m from the company, including rent, car payments and school tuition

Quote

The Times, citing two people with knowledge of the matter, said Weisselberg was expected to receive a five-month jail sentence, which would make him eligible for release after about 100 days. The deal would not require Weisselberg to testify or cooperate in any way with an ongoing criminal investigation into Trump’s business practices.
