Madame deVenoge
Y’all - @Mlle. Zabzie is about to meet one of my current favorite humans, and the one whom I am dating. The Doctor. He’s been a bit odd as far as our Friday night goes (he got weird about restaurant reservations, and it wasn’t even at the famed restaurant in American Psycho…) but other than MUST BE AT COMEDY CELLAR ON FRIDAY AT 11:45 pm and Saturday tickets to & Juliet, I don’t see where his major malfunction might be, other than he doesn’t want to ever be late for anything, ever. Will update unless Zabz does so, first. Starkess

For better for worse. No. But, honestly, I'm not sure any non-feline is. Based on one brunch, he seems like he might do though? The husband person also gave his conditional approval (all approval is obviously conditional on him treating her right). This is pretty high praise. The husband person is a tough judge. Fitzroy (the boy cat) liked him, but liked Chats better (obvi - I mean she does have fabulous hair). The lady cats showed their disdain, but there was a vacuum running in the house so we won't read too much into that. Madame deVenoge
Madame deVenoge
Since I am now of the advanced age of 48, and therefore old enough to be crotchety….I am, at some point, going to tell the Doctor that he needs to declare his intentions. I mean, I’m not expecting a marriage proposal at only one year. But I’d expect to know whether or not the probability of such at least equaled or exceeded 95% in the next 5 years. He also knows I expect roses on Valentine’s Day, but prefer not to go to a restaurant because service is always sub-normal on Valentine’s. I have conveyed to him the significance that I place on the day. Also, perhaps not coincidentally, my Pumpkin has decided to finally fly the coop, finally embrace capitalism, and apply with Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, etc, etc. But not before unionizing his Starbucks location. LMAO. Let me know as and when he is looking for a studio apartment in Williamsburg or possibly Jersey City (I'd say Manhattan, but I feel like he won't be able to take that on board). He wants Lower Manhattan (never gonna happen, he’s not going to want to go broke in 5 years). I talked him through the spreadsheet in my head, and for four times a year, the NoMo SoHo makes more sense. Hell, me spending a week at The Mark every year makes more sense. He won’t let Atlanta go because his practice, established over 20 years, is here. I have a few more options because my work is so niche and now that I’ve had solid Financial Services experience, I could maybe re-establish in NYC. He is buying me flowers, and due to my contracting The Norovirus on Thursday, he’s leaving them outside his doorstep along with some meds for Pumpkin, who now has The Noro. He’s going to call me when they are there

Did you ever hear about the guy who rented a crawl space in Manhattan for something like $500 a month? It was literally just a place to sleep and I don’t think the guy could even stand up in it. But, yes, the Doctor is being quite sweet @A True Kaniggit - NOW I FEEL REALLY OLD. I shake my cane at you.
