john Posted October 15, 2022 Share Posted October 15, 2022 I liked the audacity of the ending but it didn’t really work for me, didn’t make sense in the context of the story. For one thing she literally says that Bruce doesn’t need to explain what he’s been up to and then he does exactly that. And I’m not sure about a legal system that drops charges against one person because another person gets charges instead for a totally different offence. I like the idea that Jen is pushing for it to be a legal comedy through the whole show and finally gets her way but the execution definitely felt like they cared more about the laughs than anything else. I did very much enjoy the penultimate episode, poking fun at Daredevil, much as I like that show. So relying on the laughs to carry it can work if you get the balance right, I didn’t feel they did in the finale. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
