SpaceChampion
So according to this video Amazon, HBO Max and Apple have been interested in continuing the Expanse. Discussions didn't go anywhere at Amazon (and their 2 year option for continuing still has one year remaining). Interest waned (but not completely gone) at HBO Max after Zaslav took over Warner Brothers. But Apple remains highly interested. A kickstarter for a comic book series set between Book 6 and 7 is raking in millions of dollars, and this IP ("Dragon's Tooth") is the basis for a spin-off that would be more attractive to HBO or Apple, because neither wanted to jump right to Book 7 material, and the main interest is becoming a larger, continuing franchise. Maybe Amazon will take note of the outside interest and reconsider their option. SpaceChampion
HBO's The Idol is apparently a total shitshow. https://www.rollingstone.com/tv-movies/tv-movie-features/the-idol-hbo-next-euphoria-torture-porn-the-weeknd-sam-levinson-lily-rose-depp-blackpink-jennie-1234688754/ Quote For months, the hype machine has been at full tilt for HBO’s upcoming series The Idol, which is being billed as a darker, crazier, and more risqué version of Levinson’s smash-hit Euphoria. ... Four sources say that Levinson ultimately scrapped Seimetz’s approach to the story, making it less about a troubled starlet falling victim to a predatory industry figure and fighting to reclaim her own agency, and more of a degrading love story with a hollow message that some crew members describe as being offensive. “It was like any rape fantasy that any toxic man would have in the show — and then the woman comes back for more because it makes her music better,” one production member explains of Levinson’s version. However, If the guy you're having creative differences with is named "Denis Villeneuve", you're wrong! That's like, the first thing they teach you on day one of film school. SpaceChampion
The Shadow & Bone showrunners say season 2 (which dropped on Netflix last night) will not include the Six of Crows ice court heist storyline, because they think that deserves its own spin-off show. The latter is planned to chronologically take place simultaneously with the finale of the former's season 2. No formal green light given yet, but the writer's room was already working on outlining the series. Edited March 16 by SpaceChampion

Maybe they're remaking the Mel brooks movie. I could see Isaac doing a good Gene Wilder impression. Garfield has "I"-gor written all over him. Seems like a boring role for Isaac. I'd rather think he's the good doctor. Plus it would be interesting for Garfield to be the bride.
