Because they already changed PM a couple of days ago, they just neglected to give Jeremy Hunt the Downing Street photo op and audience with the King. Meanwhile Truss hangs around like some kind of puppet empress after a neat court putsch. She was barely defacto PM long enough for people to complain about the lack of a general election. Surreal.
