Week
Judge is just magnificent. As a former Yankee-hater, he's such a joy to watch and listen to. No notes.
Arakasi
The Devil Rays (and yes, I know they're just the Rays now, but fuck that) must piss everyone off having so much success on a cheap budget. Tywin yeah I agree with this. I didn’t want to keep posting off topic there but just look at deGrom. Everyone knew he was a walking injury risk but the media kept going on that you had to sign him. When we signed boring old Chris Bassitt and not deGrom Jays writers blasted the FO. And now predictably he’s injured and is missing this year and the next at the cool cost of 37 million a year. Nictarion
What a game for the debut of Elly De La Cruz.
Nictarion
The Reds are awful fun to watch all of a sudden. Elly De La Cruz is going to be an absolute superstar.
Ramsay B.
^^^ Yeah, his 1st homer was an absolute blast. Sanchez and Hicks having some early success with their new teams. Good for them.

Nictarion
This Reds team is a blast. I haven’t been this interested in years.
Nictarion
Elly De La Cruz hits for the cycle and the Reds win their 12th game in a row. Against an equally hot Braves team, too. This kid is special.
Jaxom 1974
Eff those Reds. The Cardinals finally suck, the Brewers are trending downwards (no matter what they may say, it's happening in the next couple of seasons). The Pirates are a paper tiger in the end. All while the Cubs are trending upwards again, playing above their skis again. And what happens? The Reds decide to be effing good. Legit good. WTF? Though I'd rather be battling for divisional glory and trips to the playoffs with the Reds and the Pitates, rather than the Cardinals and thr Brewers. Lightning Lord
Went to my first Twins game in about seven years. It was glorious. Sixteen dollar beers, one dollar per hot dog, an outfielder pitching the ninth inning, and several home runs in the late innings took the sting off the L for me. Pro ball is good ball. Brilliant summer evening. Pitch clock did force me to pay more attention than I remember. Not a wholly bad thing (and not at all bad when viewing on the teevees). It definitely appears the Cardinals are not good based on the one game of baseball I’ve seen this year. Jaxom 1974
KingintheNorth4
I'd say the Angels have a comfortable lead in their game against the Rockies.

The new park is clearly a lot nicer, but I miss the cheapness of the Metrodome and the ability to sneak into the expensive seats with a nosebleed ticket. 39 minutes ago, KingintheNorth4 said: I'd say the Angels have a comfortable lead in their game against the Rockies. 24-0 is a big lead, right? Jaxom 1974
This ESPN broadcast of today's London game is atrocious. The idea of Alex Rodriguez as a color guy? He's not very good, so perfect for ESPN. And I respect that Michael Kay is your guy, Yankees fans, but he's your guy. He doesn't really do it as a national broadcast guy to me. The camera angles are rough...just watched the pickpff play at first from, apparently, the third base dugout? Just all around, not great. Fox certainly did a much better job yesterday. Tywin et al.
It's still mind bending the Mets and Padres are below .500 while spending all that money, meanwhile the Rays have the best winning percentage and are spending nothing. Baltimore is spending even less and are above .600.
Lightning Lord
Perfect game for Germane. Ye gods I hate the Yankees but...grumble grumble... fantastic! Even if it was against the A's and as such should get an asterisk the size of the sun.
