The number of bizarre and ridiculous stories seemed so common in the news, and I always thought it was the drugs, senility, and humidity. In reality, it's probably due to the state's "Sunshine Law, which makes official records related to state governing agencies accessible to the public." I think Hitler would flee to the upper Northeast (Maine, NH or Vermont all work) or the Mountain West, probably Montana or Wyoming. Hitler in the deep South seems like a great premise for a comedy.
