Hopefully, Ser Scott misses out on this brand of excitement. I can almost see these thugs screening would be voters at the door, turning the democratic ones away at gunpoint. And when the cops are called, the verdict is these guys have full authority... Far-fetched? A large minority of the comments are in favor of these thug's actions. 'Kill them': Arizona election workers face midterm threats (msn.com) (Reuters) - Election workers in Arizona’s most fiercely contested county faced more than 100 violent threats and intimidating communications in the run-up to Tuesday’s midterms, most of them based on election conspiracy theories promoted by former President Donald Trump and his allies. The harassment in Maricopa County included menacing emails and social media posts, threats to circulate personal information online and photographing employees arriving at work, according to nearly 1,600 pages of documents obtained by Reuters through a public records request for security records and correspondence related to threats and harassments against election workers. I have a big pot of chili to toss at any asshats trying this (we aren’t allowed to leave the precinct so I make chili for everyone).

Just using it as a jumping off point to make fun of both sides in this internal debate being so ensconced in "messaging" being a problem to ignore the fact they're both vastly overrating the impact of "messaging" on elections. I say this now because I'm dreading the next few weeks of the inane blame game between these factions. Anywho, Jon Ralston posted his predictions last night. Somewhat surprised he has Cortez Masto winning reelection. He also has Dem incumbent Sisolak losing the gubernatorial race, but Democrat Cisco Aguilar winning the SoS contest. IheartIheartTesla
I am surprised by that prediction too, since till the weekend he had been quite gloomy about the state of the Clark firewall and the lower-than-expected turnout thus far. Even if Cortez Masto (or 'Catherine' as she calls herself in her innumerable emails to me) wins, I would peg it at lower than the 2 percent points Ralston has. With Democrats at risk of losing both the House and Senate in Tuesday's midterms, we speak with Justice Democrats spokesperson Waleed Shahid about the progressives favored to win congressional seats. Texas city councilmember and former labor organizer Greg Casar, and Pennsylvania community organizer Summer Lee have all been endorsed by Justice Democrats, who are best known for helping catapult members of the Squad to victory in 2018. Zorral
Watching a docu on the Rise of Hitler, how he took over Germany -- in his incendiary public appearances, in front of -- gads! hundreds of thousands -- he speaks over and over of how "they may kill us but ...." The big difference between the reichlicans here and now: it's not about they may kill us but it's about how We will kill Them, meaning us. And the US too, for that matter. Mindwalker
Oz told people on his rally they should go and find 10 more people (to vote) at the Steelers' game. How would he know that?"

The DOJ's Civil Rights division has been present in the 64 jurisdictions mentioned during early voting, as is mentioned in that press release. Further, the DOJ is plainly doing everything it can to protect the vote, as is detailed here and here. You wanna whine about Garland failing to prosecute certain people no argument here. But acting like they haven't done what they can within their purview when it comes to voting rights is just plain ignorant.
