(Reuters) - Election workers in Arizona’s most fiercely contested county faced more than 100 violent threats and intimidating communications in the run-up to Tuesday’s midterms, most of them based on election conspiracy theories promoted by former President Donald Trump and his allies.

The harassment in Maricopa County included menacing emails and social media posts, threats to circulate personal information online and photographing employees arriving at work, according to nearly 1,600 pages of documents obtained by Reuters through a public records request for security records and correspondence related to threats and harassments against election workers.

I am surprised by that prediction too, since till the weekend he had been quite gloomy about the state of the Clark firewall and the lower-than-expected turnout thus far. Even if Cortez Masto (or 'Catherine' as she calls herself in her innumerable emails to me) wins, I would peg it at lower than the 2 percent points Ralston has.

Wow, what uninformed whining.  The DOJ's Civil Rights division has been present in the 64 jurisdictions mentioned during early voting, as is mentioned in that press release.  Further, the DOJ is plainly doing everything it can to protect the vote, as is detailed here and here.  You wanna whine about Garland failing to prosecute certain people no argument here.  But acting like they haven't done what they can within their purview when it comes to voting rights is just plain ignorant.

Please, to say the DOJ and the government in general has been doing everything it can to protect the vote ignores how so many officials have spent a long time trying to pretend the situation isn't as bad as it actually is.
