They were human sized (still round) and floated down streets and alleyways in groups of four. They ment us ill but the people of the town didn’t care because they tasted so good. The X-ray tech said there was no break in any part of my foot, which is lucky because I rolled it forward and if felt like everything in my foot popped. There's one area of slight concern, but the pain there is mild and if it feels better in a few days I may have escaped disaster. If it still hurts next week I have to get a second opinion from a specialist and probably an MRI. If that's the case I'll face it in a few days, but for now it appears I avoided one of the scarier sports injuries you can suffer. I can't stop laughing that last weekend I finally sprung and bought a row machine for my home gym. That shit in the best case scenario isn't get used for weeks, lol. And the thunder scared the dog enough that she pissed. Which I stepped in while looking for the lantern. Edit: Great. I'm not sleeping well because of a left shoulder injury I've been nursing for three weeks now [MRI is next week] so I was up before sunrise. Let Tulip out into the backyard and she starts barking at the top of one of my trees that broke off. Paced it out, its over 22' long, and at its thickest as big around as a basketball. Missed the house and my back deck by another 20' or so. And I can't just get out the chainsaw to cut it up and pack it away, because my shoulder is fucked. Grumble growl, grumble grumble. I set an alarm and have the telescope ready, should be a clear night/morning, heading out to the Catskills tonight to get up over any fog along the river.
