But for the sake of your hypothetical, I’d wager that he would have never warned Cersei. He would have immediately told Robert, be damned the consequences. Cregan would have taken the throne in Robert's Rebellion, executed Jamie or sent him to the Wall. Probably also Amory Loch and Gregor Clegane.
