Consigliere
PSG are still pushing hard to convince Messi to extend with them according to reports. Also been reports that Sergio Busquets will be heading to Inter Miami - Matt Lawton says the club are also considering Suarez and Fabregas. Germany were the better team in the tournament, but Argentina had the better chances in the final, when Palacio, Higuain, and Messi himself missed some good chances. From how the tournament went, yes. From the team potential no. The 2014 team had quite a few key players, who were past it (Mascherano comes to mind). The 2010 team should have been stronger than the 2014 team.

That's what they get for ignoring Inter's Argie colony! Leaving out Zanetti and Cambiasso, and giving only few minutes to Milito was criminal. Hell, Zanetti was also left out of 2006- it's ridiculous, and explains a lot about Argentina really.
A Horse Named Stranger
Kicking out an aging Zanetti was the right call in 2010 (he was 36 for crying out loud). Leaving out Cambiasso was criminal.

Rorshach
Javier Zanetti was so class he'd still be the best back Argentina would have had he been active today.
Winterfell is Burning
Also, it's not like Argentina was overwhelmed with great choices for the position- IIRC, Maradona started with Ottamendi playing there against Germany.
IheartIheartTesla
Ah well CONCACAF teams slowly being found out at the global stage. Apart from Canada, the other three teams are hanging by a thread (I'd suggest the US has the best chance of advancing followed by Mexico). They're all decent teams, but it would be a shame if all of them were eliminated before the knock-out rounds.
3CityApache
So thanks to Costa Rica Germany isn't fucked even if they lose today, right? Unless Spain specifically decides they prefer Japan in the second round.

He started everything with his face in a mound of coke Scarface style. I've said it here before, one of the weirdest experiences of my life was going to the local store in Buenos Aires after the Germans crushed them in 2010. All the Brazilian flags out afterwards must have really stung for the locals.

That's a really advanced math though, as Costa Rica would have to beat Germany by at least 7 goals.

I live with my bipolar brother. I have seen unhinged. Your terminology is absurd, is basically all I was saying.
polishgenius
No fucking way. 16 minutes ago, Spockydog said: Your terminology is absurd, is basically all I was saying. Surely this is one of those situations where if you can't understand or agree with someone's anger about the treatment or description of POC... you just don't say anything coz I dunno about you but I can't possibly judge what it's like to deal with that shit every day. Come on man.
