I knew, I ahd something like that in the back of my head.

Anyway, wouldn't surprise me, if they ended their PSG engagement completely, with their Sportwash Cup being done, PSG might have outlived its usefulness as a marketing tool. Esp. with the Europeans still babbling on about Human Rights...

I currently have CR7 as number 4 all time. I have Messi at number 1 only because I didn't see enough of Pele or Maradona to compare. But their records speak for themselves. I don't think anyone ever had a peak like Maradona in 1986 WC, or the season he dragged Napoli to the title.

Is this the equivalent of discounting Bill Russel based on "he did it a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away?"

France could have been sitting on 3-0 now with a bit better accuracy.

Sucks they didn't have Lady Luck on their side. :P

It's hard to properly rate people who you have never seen that much of live.

Based on people I've seen a lot of it goes Messi, Ronaldo, Fat Ronaldo (possibe number 1 without injuries), Zidane, Van Basten (another one that would be higher without injuries).

I think you mean Lady Physics

You must love the physics of Argentina. So precise. So Beautiful. Not sure any other South American team could ever look like this.

You agree right? :P

100%. I have no idea how to compare pre-Jordan players tbh to today's players because I saw him live as a little kid and he was just that dude. Idk if Messi is actually a better player than Pele, but he's my guy!

You saying this made me remember that the pope is Argentinian. /cdn-cgi/mirage/41604ce2f5845907b156bacb9535d8b70767c16dc49ec9fb79ada0e5037f46df/1280/https://asoiaf.westeros.org/uploads/emoticons/default_stunned.gif

Which is appropriate- every Argentinian thinks they see God when they are looking in the mirror

Respect to Morocco for their achievement. They gave it as good as they got, they went down fighting.

But I'm also impressed with France, considering that they got here with so many absences. Giroud has shown up in this WC, Theo Hernandez took his older brother's place 10 minutes in their very first match and has played well. They need Rabiot back in the midfield because Fofana was their weakest player today.
