BigFatCoward
Anyone who would go to Chelsea over Arsenal currently is a lucky escape. Clearly talented, but money over fame and glory. Fuck those players.

Might as well have spunked the money on Enzo Fernandez - at least he's a player that Chelsea actually desperately need. ETA. when Tuchel got sacked, the Chelsea suits and Potter should have been on the phone to Lukaku to try and patch things up. Lukaku is more unfit than ever
Iskaral Pust
Liverpool’s performance and result was so predictable. Just copy and paste any of my prior posts this season so that I don’t have to re-type the same thing again. I’ve said since August that this entire season is a write-off. A Horse Named Stranger
Well, I suppose 3/4 of the CL qualifiers in England are more less settled. Arsenal/Emirates will finish 1-2 (looks like the league's Arsenal's to lose at this point, but like I said, let's wait and see what happens with Partey). United looks like a safe bet for third. Fourth most likely either Aramco FC or Spurs. Since Spurs are gonna Spurs, probably Aramco. The way this season is unfolding, Neither Liverpool nor Chelsea will have that many mid week fixtures next season.

Not so much for Chelsea.
A Horse Named Stranger
Well, if you don't behave, you have to go to bed without a Bellingham. Anyway, if they feel putting in 100m is needed to raise the value of their investment, they might do that. But this season has a feel of end of Klopp's shelf life at Liverpool to it. Got a lot out of his time at the wheel. Anyway, got to get dressed. Worst away game of the season (Chess). Also still need to prepare some tea for my ruined Sunday. I don't wanna put the cart before the horse, there's still a good chance our squad doesn't hold up and we drop off, but we're one point behind City and are in better form. Odd to put them in the title race but us not.

Odd to put them in the title race but us not. I expect that we will drop off. Our fixture list is congested. We had an additional league game postponed and failing to win our EL group added two extra fixtures. Progressing in the domestic cups has added further congestion. Two extra fixtures in the EL means that we have no free midweeks left to fit in the additional postponed league game so we are gonna have a fixture pile-up. I think Newcastle will finish above us. They are also playing very well, are out of the FA Cup, have no European competition so they have a much less congested season and should be well rested. polishgenius
Yeah, it's a lot. And if Casemiro drops off in particular we're gonna find it hard. We have reasonable back-up options in every other position in one way or another, but there's no stand-in for him. 29 minutes ago, Raja said: At least Caicedo is a player they actually need. Spockydog
I see Eddie Howe cares about drink driving as much as he does about chopping up journalists with a bone saw. Joelinton not even dropped to the bench. Can't wait to hear his justification for that. Edited January 15 by Spockydog

Most people don't get in trouble at work for drink driving (I'd get sacked), why should a footballer be any different? I fucking hate drink drivers and I've had to scrape a few bodies up because of them, but it is what it is, the courts apply the punishment, not the court of public opinion. 8.5 year contract for the Ukrainian merc, is there a longer one in world football? polishgenius
I hope the rumour that they're giving him 200k a week is true because that would be fucking hilarious. They're properly buying their own future problems right now. ants
