Did he fuck your girlfriend or something? Of all the people in the game to have a problem with.

Most people don't get in trouble at work for drink driving (I'd get sacked), why should a footballer be any different? I fucking hate drink drivers and I've had to scrape a few bodies up because of them, but it is what it is, the courts apply the punishment, not the court of public opinion.

8.5 year contract for the Ukrainian merc, is there a longer one in world football?

I would have gotten the sack, too. But you're right, man. I shouldn't let this stuff get to me.

I mean, it's football. Ronaldo. Ched Evans. Thomas fucking Partey.

The beautiful game is a moral cesspit, and it's an absolute tragedy.

Chelsea v Palace is a good game.

Mudryk is in the stands. Looking forward to his camera cutaway when Palace score and the orcs start singing Abramovic's name.

Saul signed a 9-year contract with Atleti. Inaki Williams also signed a 9-year contract with Athletic Bilbao. The longest one might be Pepelu at Levante who signed a 10-year contract last year.

I did tell you guys when the team was sold that they'd spend a shit ton of money. That's what Boehly has done with the Dodgers and as a fan, how can you complain, apart from buying some of the wrong players?

Is Mudryk worth the hype, or just another dart thrown at the board?

Maybe he doesn't care.

Mykhailo, Ukraine has been resisting Russia’s military aggression for exactly a month. What do you think about everything that is happening right now?
- I think this is a massive crime against the Ukrainian people. And there is no price high enough to pay for it. Even the death of the one who started this will be no atonement for it.

As mealy-mouthed as you'd expect from the humble football man.

"We don't underestimate the seriousness of the situation."

Um, you clearly do mate.

Good thing that Arsenal did lead by example and that they do not field Partey any longer to give you the moral highground on this.

I think i've made my position on Partey pretty clear on more than one occassion. I want that rapey bastard out of my team.

Yeah, but I find a bit rich to chastise Howe over Joelinton, while Arteta is arguably doing much worse.

Tbf there a significantly higher chance that Partey is actually innocent. Drink drive is as stone bonkers as you get being charged for.

Arsenal are playing well but Spurs have also been poor. Their football has been turgid all season. You've got a top class front line of Son-Kane-Kulusevski (and quality depth with Perisic, Richarlison and Gil) and Conte sets the team up so negatively that their top class forwards see little of the ball. The sheer individual quality of that forward line are the only reason Spurs are 5th. The quality of their overall play is midtable standard.

Lloris, my man, what are you doing.

Looks like a slight deflection of Sessegnon, which moves it closer to the goal and means it hits his hands where he doesn't control the ball.

Visually looks like a total screw-up, but having tried to react to shots and passes myself, you go for initial trajectory and any change in that will be horribly difficult to adjust for.
