Money League Top 20 teams:https://www2.deloitte.com/content/dam/Deloitte/uk/Images/inline_images/Campaign/press-releases/deloitte-uk-deloitte-football-money-league-2023.png

Liverpool was the biggest mover in this year’s edition of the Money League, rising four places (from seventh to third) to achieve its highest-ever position. The Reds have overtaken Manchester United in the rankings for the first time, on the back of a run to the UEFA Champions League Final 2022 which generated additional broadcast revenue. Liverpool was also only one of five clubs to report over €100m in matchday revenue, which was the first time the club had done so, as fans returned to football stadia.

This is a total disgrace. Though, there's probably at least one twat here who agrees with the panel.

Sounds like Boris has been moonlighting as a manager now he's not busy anymore.

Tbf, it does seem like he had a very diverse team, otherwise how could he be so utterly abhorrent to so many people.

Trossard is supposedly done, £27m.

Been thinking about this, and on balance, I think I'd rather we paid £27m for a proven PL goalscorer just moving into his peak years, over an untested kid from the Ukranian league for £100m.

We pay 21m plus add ons. Think this is perfect move for a team that’s competing for a title, average age of 24, needs versatility across the front line and is PL proven. Should embed quickly. I’m happy.

Still want a stud talent at winger though that can take on players 1v1. Suspect we go after one in summer.

There's been some rumour suggesting you're interested in Moussa Diaby, which let's be fair everyone should be, but I dunno if there's any chance of Leverkusen letting him go before summer.

I bet we go after him in summer. Setting it up now with initial talks. Trossard gives us the cover we need across the front line for this year.

We should have signed Diaby instead of pissing away €100m on the Brazilian Nicolas Pepe.

I still think Reiss Nelson can do a job for us. He's coming back from injury soon.
