Daniel Jones now has as many playoff wins as Dak Prescott.

They're going to have to pay him now and they'll regret it.

Thats what I felt before the season. That he would play well enough for them to sign him. He wins next week in Phi and ill re-think. Gettleman is somewhere smiling.

To his credit, he has shown improvement, specifically when it comes to turnovers. He's always going to be who he is, a mediocre arm talent, but has great size and can run both for power and speed. I personally wouldn't want to invest in him, but I don't see how the Giants don't at this point. He'll be their starter for at least two more seasons.

With Daboll as HC I think he has a chance to finish out his career here. Hes changed everything.

Sigh, well, I'm fully expecting the Cowboys to AGAIN lose tonight to the Bucs and Brady. Pretty much everything points to it: They've never beaten Brady, they haven't been able to run on Tampa's D, Dallas hasn't won an away playoff game in 30 years, they haven't won on a grass field since like 2017, etc. It would be great to finally get that win vs. Brady in the playoffs and what could be his last ever game. But it is the Cowboys we are talking about. They are the epitome of underachievers.

Daboll as a HC has been MASSIVELY overrated. If he did the same job in a smaller market no one even mention him.

And with Jones, man, if you want that dude to be your Qb for the future, good luck...

Daboll has done a great job with the amount of talent he has. He very well could win Coach of the year. Being in NY helps if you win. Schumer and Judge had the same advantage. Jones has earned himself another contract. Hes our guy now. Giant qbs have success playing on the road in the playoffs. Phi has WAY more talent but im confident we can go there and play. Its hard to beat a team 3 times in a year.

Fuck no. There's no argument for him over the coach he beat. He's not even close to CotY and again, if he did what he did in Denver, nobody would mention his name in that conversation. It's literally just because of New York.

If he did what he did in Denver, everyone would say it was because of Russell Wilson on a team everyone expected to be really good this year.  But he did it in New York.  With Daniel Jones.  On a team that everyone expected to be hot garbage.

You're going to die alone on this hill Ty.

The Giants weren't good and Jones wasn't either. He averaged less than a TD pass per game. Give it to Shanny who has made a seventh round pick look amazing FFS.

Doug Pederson has my vote for CotY. If you really look at their overall roster, they're not that talented. I think what he has done with them is amazing.

I don't know. They're littered with talent. They've been drafting in the top 10 the last 14 years basically. That hasn't always translated obviously but there is talent on that team.

That being said, Pederson is a good coach. But if Taylor couldn't get any votes last year with a Super Bowl run after going 6-24 the 2 years before, not sure why Pederson should get it this year with a 9-8 team.

The coach he beat has talent up and down on that roster, especially on offense. The Giants are better spot for spot where? DLine ? Thats it

Jones was throwing to a cast of literal practice players most of the year. Yes, his stats aren’t sexy at all but to downplay what him, Daboll and Giants have accomplished with this team just because they’re in the biggest of markets seems silly.

Also, no chance Giants have a better D-line than 49ers. Despite having one of the top DT’s in Dexter they struggled mightily against the run all year.

ETA: Just realized you meant Vikings D-line. My bad.

The Jags have a ton of talent. They also have a lot of bad contracts.

Having a great young QB on a rookie deal fixes the latter.

Pederson is a legit good coach. We can never forget just how bad Urban was. Worst coach ever might not be fair, but's absolutely in that conversation.

That's the funny thing, the Vikings are not actually that talented. They've got really good skill players, but after that, eh. Kirk is average, the line is average, Cook is in decline, Theilen even more so, the D-line is above average, Kendricks is declining and the other linebackers aren't good and the secondary is a complete mess. The Vikings have a lot of names who three to five years ago would have been really helpful. This team easily could have gone 4-13. But they had a season where the good part of randomness was on their side until it wasn't. Still can't believe they ran an extremely dumb trick play on third and an inch. WTF!
