If theres anyone to burn Shireen its Wildlings.Val is very scared of her and thinks her as time bomb. With GRRM cant expect anything but death for her.

I will have hard time reading about decimation & death of all Tyrell siblings ( Willas might survive imo) and Euron defeating the Redwynes and raiding half the Reach, Doran's kids all dying from his master plan, poor Brienne probably getting blind losing her beautiful eyes etc etc.

Are you @SeanFin disguise?  Gads, that was awful.  All Doran's kids?  All of them?  Even Trystane?  He's a nice kid?  He's done nothing to anyone?  That's it.  I'm getting out the George Strait records, a bottle of burbon and the box cutters...I don't think I can take another thing happening to Brienne.  She's been through quite enough.  You are going to hell.

The crow appears and pecks at Bran’s forehead in AGoT.

ps: the dream where Brand/Summer reach out to Jon/Ghost in ACoK happens before Bran physically meets Bloodraven, but after the 3EC appears to Bran in AGoT and pecks at his forehead.

Yea but then it closes again, like it does after he leaves the crypts.

I also kinda think that the 3ec is Bran, which is not only a time jump but like a dimension jump too.

I agree the way I'm describing it sounds kinda lame but GRRM is a much more gifted story teller and would make it not lame.

I just remember back in the day my friend spoiled stuff by telling me Bran can morph into his wolf. I said that was stupid. When asked later if that was true I was like "oh yea, they all can. It's not stupid at all though and in fact it's really cool"

So whatever may seem wack, probably won't be once written.

I wonder if it's possible to sigh with joy when I see you.  I do enjoy the awful things His Dreadfulness comes up with, but the more I think about poor Brienne the more convinced I become that TWOW will actually drench me in blood as I read it.  Stannis behaves like himself shed of both Mel and Davos.  Oh this will be very bad indeed.

Lol. Yea it's gonna be rough. Dany will truly be the mad kings daughter, Sansa will become Cersei 2.0 and Jon is going to lead some some terrifying army onto the Sunsets.

But I see happiness too. I'm pretty sure that along with the ice spiders, Stannis will have bent the knee to Jon too, the Stark girls may have a bit of squabble at first but eventually they'll chill out and work together, and Theon will become Westeros' hero.

It's bad, but Winter is Coming. Which sounds bad, but it's not. Well, not that bad.

I think they do but this isn't the place for a big debate and so we can just agree to disagree?

Melisandre definitely, but for Stannis to kill his brother by knowingly having sex with a witch is just, such a turn off. That despite the comedic aspect of it, its just too unfathomable.

I'm having a pretty metaphysical conversation with Kissd now, but if you say so

Oh I don't think he knew the exact mechanics of it all I just think he was aware that what he was doing in more general terms would kill Renly/Melisandre would off him.

I am too tired for deep stuff right now. Maybe later we can debate. When I've had food and cider

Were Stannis more experienced, less um rigid pardon the term, it would have been more exciting.  I mean, who doesn't want to have sex with a hot red witch really?   No one wants to have sex with Stannis as I see it.

Oh Mel is smoking. Literally. But he's not thinking what a piece of ass he's thinking about magicking his baby brother to death through some dark magic fetus.

Idk, maybe he played some music.

And Selyse is all over him.

Proves the point, sex only Mel or Selyse could want.  Ick.

Martin might opt for an auto da fe, where Jeyne Poole, Shireen, Gilly's baby, and Asha all get sacrificed together.

I took a break and came up with another adjective just in case you showed up.  Ghastly, Ser.

Why did you have to go straight for Gilly's baby?  That's so dark and awful and baby killing awful and terrible and bad and bunny hanging and puppy eating and fields of pretty flowers burning.  Ghastly.

Victarion is one of my favorite characters if not my favorite POV to read in the story. I dunno, I guess I enjoy being appalled. You don't need a glass candle to see that things are not going to end well for the Iron Captain though. When he's gone I will miss his POV. I only hope that we see his demise first hand from his perspective and he goes out pissing vinegar. To a lesser extent I could say the same about Cersei. Bronn and Tyrion aren't really the pair that they were back in GOT, but if they end up on opposite sides of things (hard to say) I will find that a little difficult. Finally with Tyrion, if he goes as dark and bleak as his current path suggests he may then I will not enjoy reading that as much as I enjoyed him through Storm of Swords. OK, really finally I kind of dread the return of Jon Snow. I hope that Martin has something in mind for us that we've somehow not yet considered, but I fear that won't be the case and I'll be there mourning the death of a theory more than I'll be enjoying the story he actually tells.

Here is some juicy meat to chew.  This battle over in Mereen causes me some concern.  I love Vic for many reasons, mainly because he wants to outwit Euron, which is absurd, but I admire his wanting to.  This addition of Moqorro to his story is utterly intriguing to me because I don't know if Moqorro is Mel with better visions or not.  Vic sure seems lucky on his voyage, but I can't get over the seems part here.  And the hand--how often does a hand become spooky and gross at the same time?  This will be so much fun to read if the battle breaks my heart.  #KeepSerGrampaAlive!  Tyrion is already getting better and he will be fine, if tougher and wiser.  Penny dying will rip my dwarf loving heart out and I hate GRRM just thinking about it, but Tyrion will be fine.  Just read through to see the many things folks suspect Jon to be upon his return.  I am sort of a blank slate on this.  Not sure if that is stupidity or lack of imagination, but I just don't know.  But I am really excited to get back to Mereen.  Note to self:  Order Kleenex.

:uhoh:

I barely read Vic’s chapters… same for the Damphair. But I totally agree, reading his chapters is being/feeling appalled again and again and again!

From your fingertips to Martin’s, please Old Gods!

But the vinegar pissing is just his normal self 24/7, no? I doubt we’ll see his demise from his PoV, though I suppose Martin could change this pattern.

Cersei’s definitely appalling, and so much more, none of it good. But I enjoy her chapters in a way I don’t Vic’s or the Damphair’s. Maybe b/c Vic is just stupid, whereas Cersei, despite a low cunning, is stupid and kind of crazy?

I don’t really care for Tyrion… never cared much but now he’s hands down my least favourite main PoV. I hope he comes back from the brink, but I’m not sure he will… Martin also called him a villain, so there’s that. I fear he may be a bad influence on Dany as well.

That would be awesome, but given the amount of ideas, theories and speculation that have been proposed since 2011, I find that possibility a very slim one.

I like that, ‘the death of a theory’! I suppose many of us will be going through processing that grief. :D

You do know this is a movie reference, right?
