I can't wait for Bo Katan to meet the Armorer. "Dude. You guys are some extremist wackos. Who told you you can't take your helmet off? Who lied to you so hard that you're brainwashing a whole generation of our people?"

The big plot twist will be that the Armorer is just really really unattractive.

So it's going to be another Vader scenario where the actor voicing the character isn't the same as the one doing the physical performance?

Well we already have that most of the time with Mando

There is a difference between using stunt doubles and James Earl Jones not being in the costume at all. But my response to Kal was mainly a joke because Emily Swallow is definitely not unattractive. ;)

Maybe if she was more badger looking Kal would like her. :)

Or if he had mushrooms...

They should have given him a freighter with a fighter attached. Now THAT would make an awesome toy.

So basically The Ghost with The Phantom.

I had to hunt down The Phantom Lego set for my son (totally for my son… totally) because by the time we started watching Rebels, collecting Star Wars Legos it had gone out of production.

But it was totally worth it.  There’s a section on the back of the Ghost where the Phantom just slots in perfectly. It really is pretty cool.

The latest episode of The Mandalorian was alright. I enjoyed the imagery of the desolate Mandalore and its cities and liked to see Grogu do a whole lot more + Bo-Katan shining again.

And the thing that had been foreshadowed pretty much since episode 1 of the show, but especially from The Book of Boba Fett episodes, happened.

Spoiler

an actual Mythosaur and in live action, too. The return of Mandalorian civilization has begun.

There was definitely more meat in this episode. I liked it quite a bit but

Spoiler

I would be more than happy to have Amy Sedatis’ character fed to a sarlaac or shot into a sun.

Bad Batch was also solid this week.

The Mandalorian was solid, especially they way they clearly took the Clone Wars CG model of Mandalore and then utterly destroyed it (whilst adding a ton more detail, natch). Also, Katee Sackhoff getting to be an utter badass for the first time since BSG.

The Bad Batch I think was better, though. Much more atmospheric, moody and

Spoiler

Crosshair's heel-turn back to the light at some point was fully expected, but the way they executed it was absolutely superb.

I do feel I missed the episode where the Emperor discovered the planet Brit'Ain, which provides the Imperial Navy with an infinite supply of supremely arseholiesh toffs to serve as officers.

What was the deal with the lighting this week? I could hardly see anything that was happening.

Shows should come with recommended HD settings these days. I had no problems with lighting.

Watched it in 1080p and felt like I was watching the Long Night episode of AGoT's for half the episode.
