The first part is true. Still a good deed. Also, all Marsh and the NW know of this is through the letter. To them it’s a baseless accusation. There is no vow of neutrality. And Ramsay announced his intention to attack Jon first. Also Jon didn't send anyone to take Arya from Ramsay, he sent people to rescue Arya from the Wilderness.
