Horrible in many ways. At the same time, I can't disagree with this part of the judgement:

"Prison does not lead me to believe this will contribute to your rehabilitation."

Probably not, but picking up litter and painting over graffiti sure as shit won’t.  He’d at least be unable to attack the girl again. And it makes a mockery of any claim about protecting girls/women.

If i get one more email from a Tory MP's office about why we aren't serving their constituents appropriately i'm going to lose my fucking mind.  Look in the mirror you fucking twats, there's your answer.

Nicola Sturgeon's husband's been arrested in connection to an investigation into SNP finances. Perhaps there was a little more behind her stepping down than met the eye.

Yeah. There have been rumours about missing money and his involvement for several years

The past three months could not have gone worse for the SNP.  The GRR Bill was a fiasco, they’ve elected a poor leader, and now this.

I'm on record as being no fan of Yousaf but electing either of the other two candidates would be one obvious way that the last three months could have gone considerably worse for the SNP.

Also, I disagree that the GRR bill was a fiasco. It was the first time the SNP faced significant rebellion within their own ranks, and sure that's embarrassing, but that's just any given Thursday down in Westminster these days.

Looks like the EHRC will clarify the equalities act so that sex = biological sex.

This would probably have been easier for the SNP when it comes their GRR bill had this change happened earlier. Still wouldn't have made it a good bill and Sturgeon still would have had to answer questions of rapists in women's jails that would have done for her, but it would maybe have not meant there needed to be a challenge from the UK government. Having said that, Sturgeon almost certainly banked on there being a challenge which she would have only ever have seen as a positive for her main priority: Independence.

I am also no fan of the Twilight franchise, but that's a bit harsh, don't you think?

What is it about child molesters that they almost invariably look subhuman in their photographs?

What's unusual here is that eight are women.

In my 6 years as a custody sergeant I never once had a nonce in front of me that didn't look like a stereotypical nonce.

Bit chicken and egg isn’t it? If you look like a nonce you are more likely to act like one and the more you act like one the more you look like one.
