OTOH, the USA have a written Constitution, yet the great show me state of Missouri is now actively murdering people, making providing the medications taken by fully transitioned adult people a crime.

So important is it to "keep my word" that it required 24 hours, a shed-load of external pressure; and almost certainly a direct ultimatum from the PM.
