I couldn't look away from the Kings/Warriors game yesterday.  Just a really entertaining style of ball from both teams.  Came down to the wire like you'd want it to.  It really is something to see as the NBA always seems to play out this way, the young and talented team always seems to have to bang their head against a wall for a couple years before they can really advance.  The question will just be whether the Kings can hold it together for these next two games to buck that trend or not.

Loosely watching Celtics/Hawks last night while doing other things and I would say that if I didn't know they were playing in Atlanta, I would have thought it was a Celtics home crowd based on the response of the crowd noise when the Celtics did something good.

Alright, now that I"ve talked about things I enjoyed... carry on with your arguing over "Draymond vs Embiid:  Who's the dirtiest player?"

Watched the end of the Knicks game yesterday afternoon.  Go Knicks!  Can't believe I'm saying that, but it's quite impressive how they are clearly the better team than the Cavs.  And if they win this series and the Bucks lose without Giannis...

Anyway, from shots of all the celebrities at the game thought it was funny that Jon Stewart and Pete Davidson attended the game together.  Never woulda put those two together.

Can't say enough positive things about Ant. He was great last year in the playoffs even if the team wasn't, carried us all year and is exploding again in the playoffs even if the results aren't paying off. He's averaging 37PPG over the last three matches while also getting a ton of blocks and steals and he's one of the best rebounding guards in the league. Perhaps the team made some bad decisions, but they have their cornerstone and he's still just 21. And what I love most is how critical he is of himself and recognizes when he's making mistakes in ways young guys don't really do. This season was a disaster, but the one main objective was achieved, we have someone to build around for the next five years.

They just said that if the Heat win tonight, Spoelstra will tie Auerbach for sixth most playoff wins of all time.

He’s in his fifteenth season.

My mind is kind of blown.

In fewer games too. He and Sloan are tied at 98 with the latter having 38 more games under belt. Kerr will likely be top five by next postseason and he's coached 34 fewer games than Spo.

Speaking of coming back from the dead… huge run from Memphis to get back in the game before the half.

Really thought this game was over already.

You would expect the lakers to be getting wrecked if you knew Davis and Lebron combined for 25 points.

It feels to me like its only a  matter of time before someone beats MJs 63 point playoff game.

Anyone hating on LeBron at this point clearly doesn't mean want understand basketball.

Grammar fail aside, old man Lebron might be passing old man Brady as the most stunning late in life career. If they win the chip this year the debate is over and LeBron is the GOAT of GOATs in my book.

More more typing while walking in Sicily fail, but yeah, that's what I meant.

Let me tell you young man, there is a world of difference between late 30s and mid 40s, just you wait.

Him winning this year moves the needle enough to end any discussion if he is number 2 all time. Still not sure it gets him over Jordan.

If you are talking GOAT of all sports then no.

Oh I'm sure, but LeBron is playing at a much higher level than Brady was in a more physically demanding role (I know I know, the NFL, but Brady would just fall down to avoid hits for years).

Guess I'm in the middle on this.  I think LeBron clearly is already #2 all time.  By the same token, whether he wins a title this year or not, he's still decidedly not surpassing Jordan as the clear #1.

What would it take to pass him?

If he winds up with six or even seven titles, then the argument is still that Jordan never lost one.

So how many would he need to be the new GOAT in your mind?

I dunno, honestly.  I mean, let's face it, he is old -- he's five and a half months older than me!  So, I doubt he'll get there.  If he wins six titles, which would presumably mean leading the Lakers to back-to-back titles this year and next.  Yeah, that'd be hard to argue and I suppose I'd begrudgingly have to concede.  Really don't think that's gonna happen though.
