Heartofice
I thought the Christmas Special was borderline unwatchable actually, I couldn't finish it. So was extra surprised that the humour started working for me again with GotG3.
sifth
I rather liked the Christmas Special. It wasn't as good as the films, but still a lot of fun. Truth be told, part of me always wished GotG was a tv show like Farscape; which I've heard was the main inspiration for James Gunn. Rhom
Heartofice
I think I mentioned this before, but it was the Kevin Bacon joke that really ruined it for me. Probably doesn't apply to other countries but a major phone network here in the UK uses Kevin Bacon as the face of their campaigns, and the joke is basically the same as you saw in the Christmas special, him playing on the fact that hes.. Kevin Bacon. It's sooooo played out over here.
Rhom
Quote a runtime leak has revealed that while The Marvels may sport three times the heroes as Captain Marvel, the time you’ll spend in the theater could be significantly shorter. According to leaker @Cryptic4KQual, who’s correctly predicted the runtimes of The Mandalorian and Ahsoka episodes, The Marvels clocks in at 1 hour 38 minutes, or just 93 minutes before the credits roll. You know what? That's a huge positive in my book. Tell a tight fun story. Don't stretch it out too far. My interest in the movie just grew exponentially. sifth and IlyaP

Heartofice
Shorter movies are a good thing in many cases. Of course that depends on whether something has been created to be snappy and punchy or was a much longer movie that has been mercilessly cut up to make it even slightly viewable! Right now I’d guess it’s the latter

mormont
Look, there's a strike on. Disney have to have something they can label as 'new content'. IlyaP
Corvinus85
Casting Ke Huy Quan has been one of the MCU's best decision in recent times. I hope he plays a decently large role in Loki season 2. The premiere was chaotic. I don't have much of an opinion on it right now besides that.
Ser Scot A Ellison
Okay, that was interesting in good ways. Better than anything I’ve seen from Marvel in quite some time. The interplay of past and future was well conceived. Rhom
polishgenius
It's a very good episode considering it existed entirely to undo the decision they made in the last scene of season 1 that they evidently decided didn't fit with what they want to do. Was quite reminiscent of Doctor Who, specifically of the series 5 finale with the time-jumping scenes. But then this show has been skirting up against Doctor Who's territory from the start.
