Next year we need to just start earlier and lock down the new players when WJ is finding his people. Also, I transferred your Keeper team. If you want it back next year, it is yours. It has some good players. I can help with some of the organizing next year. It's what I do. I'm strongly considering going to grad school next year to get a masters in organizational psychology. And I'm good letting the Keeper team go. But I did my best to make the roster pretty strong. It's not a bad team to inherit. Edited September 14 by Tywin et al. It's not a bad team to inherit. I appreciate that. Every year I say I am going to keep better records and start earlier, so when it comes time to start next year let's figure out the best way to fill the league and get a draft scheduled prior to the first game (although I sort of like the tradition of drafting Keeper on that first Thursday). One other note - I think this should be the last year for my Jordan Love penalty (you have it as "2 year" so either the 2 or the "year" is a typo - I think it's the 2) - pretty sure I drafted him as a rookie and this is his 4th year, so the penalty should expire after this season. Tywin et al.
You sure you want three year on Willis when they just drafted Levis? Anyways, give me two years on Dak and one on everyone else like I said before. Team: QB: Herbert, Dak (R. Wilson) RB: Chubb, Jones, Cook (Herbert, Foreman, McKinnon, Ford( Chubb's backup)) WR: JJ, Diggs, Allen, Cooper (Slot Boi, Cooks, Shaheed, Gallup) <--- I think I did really well here TE: Goedert (Higbee) K: Bass Def: GB Again, fuck all of you for up voting my D picks. Or does my strategy always work?

Yeah, I have the penalty for 1 year on my spreadsheet. I will correct it here. Cordarelle Patterson also should have been 1 year. I corrected it. mcbigski
As for the open team keepers, I suggest we settle somehow on the top 5 to get 2 year contracts based on value. Then let the new owner decline any of those 5 next year before the draft if desired. We want to give incentive/advantages to recruit but not tie new owners down past 1 more year. And include at least 1 qb in the keeper options. RaceBannon42

I know I have him and a few others in various leagues, but those were value picks. Vikes had terrible tackles for years and they finally got two good ones, but now the interior line is one of the worst in the league and watching them try to run it up the middle is cringe worthy. Seems like our new WR is pretty good though.
grozeng
$11 seemed good for Mattison. I had him at $19. It's just he dropped so many passes and should have had another fumble where it was just ripped out of his hands. It was a really good defensive play, but he was going down and should have secured the ball. I don't think I am going to keep him after yesterday but was leaning towards a 2 year deal before that. The fact that Minnesota never gave him more opportunity except when Cook was out had me out on him this year. If he were really that talented, they would have eased him into a higher workload until they phased out the older guy like Dallas did with Pollard. But nope. If Cook was healthy, Cook got dam near all the touches. Even last year when Cook looked like he was trending toward washed. I have no idea why Minny didn't attempt to bring in anyone else, though. grozeng
He looked good when he ran and he did well in the first game. I hadn't seen much of him last year. I figured he wasn't used because Cook is so good. But they let Cook walk and kept him, so I figured he had to be something. I guess I figured wrong. I have him in 2 leagues. So let's assign some keepers and let the new owner decide to void them penalty free. I would probably do Hall and Ekeler at 2 years at that price. What about Flowers, Addison, Rice and Meyers? I think those are probably the only other keepers. Do we do 2 years (or more for Flowers and Addison) for those guys and the new owner can void them?
