The Quest

[Tywin et al.]

Rules of the game: you must tag someone new if possible and always keep the story moving. And be as ridiculous as possible. There will be many protagonists and antagonists, but the first four characters we meet are as such:

@A Horse Named Stranger, known as Schweinsteiger, is the loyal steed of @LongRider, an aging, but dangerous gunslinger whose name is only known as Muerte. She's on a mission to save her old friend, @Tears of Lys, a kind mystic who has been kidnapped by dark forces yet to be revealed. As Muerte and Schweinsteiger are about to set out, @Fragile Birdcomes to lecture them about the perils of their journey, but is convinced to join them in the end. She, being about the size of Woodstock from The Peanuts, typically sits atop Schweinsteiger's head, whipping him when he makes dirty jokes. And sometimes just because. Once she begins to trust them she reveals that her name is Elizabeth, but her friends can call her Lizzy. 

So they set off at the break of dawn, daring to traverse dangers known and unknown alike.

Schweinsteiger @A Horse Named Stranger  has thrown a shoe; I wish he'd stop that shit.  Once put back on and now ready, Lizzy @Fragile Birdis nowhere to be seen.  Whistling and calling doesn't bring her back to us. Oh, wait, there she is, she's.......

[A Horse Named Stranger]

SChweinsteiger, as would every horse, knew, that this entire endeavour, like every other human endeavour, was pointless and nothing but hassle, which would under normal circumstances way below him. So instead of lying down he decided to move along. Afterall he was better off than @Tywin et al., known tenderly as woodpile, a gelded zebra, who was the companies mule, carrying the stuff, that no horse could ever be bothered with. On their way to Lizzy, @Fragile Bird, they encountered a friendly hermit in the desert, @Spockydog, who for some reason had decided that the desert was the perfect place to grow cucumbers. Why cucumbers you ask? Because he can. And as it turns out it is the perfect vegetable to beat a zebra, gelded or not, silly.

[Fragile Bird]

Let’s get this quest back on solid ground. First of all, @Tywin et al. was either stoned or drunk or a combo of both, when I was telling him about my problems with my neighbor named Elizabeth. (“Shudders at the thought of being mistaken for Elizabeth”). I’ll have to come back at you with a name. Ah, wait, you can call me Perry.

So, guys, what’s the quest? I think we’re looking for a lost sword, hidden somewhere in a castle that may or may not be mythical…

And I don’t think we’re supposed to keep posting links to ourselves, guys! 
 

Duuhhhhh…we’re supposed to add people to this adventure!

We need someone magical, like @Pebble thats Stubby to join us on this quest!

Gelded zebras always partake before a quest, especially when they begin the story, @Fragile Bird. And of course I didn't mistake your name though your last name is a bit of a mouthful. I just picked something random. The name change suggests the Bird has a dark, secret past she has yet to reveal. 

Pebble, aka Bambi Spice, has trained for a quest like this for years. Her desire to save the unnamed ToL is the first real chance to test her powers. While proficient in potions and general witchcraft, she loses control of her fire skills at times and accidentally burns those around her. Just last week she burned @Rhom, the bumbling town mayor who wears his hair like Rufio from Hook. Mayor Shikaka does not approve of the quest, but he won't get in the way. However, he becomes enraged when he finds out that one of his daughters, @HexMachina, a 19 year old MMA champion named Cleo, has snuck off to join this fellowship. 

[Tears of Lys]

Meanwhilst, back in the Forbidden Forest, being held by aforesaid "Dark Forces," tears of Lys, (who calls herself Lil) sits bemoaning her fate, which is left in the hands of a very motley crew of saviors.  The Dark Forces gather closer and closer.  "Lil" can sense their ill intent, but her golden amulet, with which she could repulse them, is in the hands of . . .

@Jaxom 1974, a half spider, half bat creature named Xanadu. His thirst for gold is insatiable. He lives in a cave deep in the Forbidden Forest. The beast found the amulet after Lil dropped it while fleeing The Dark Forces. Thankfully the wise eagle, @Mlle. Zabzie, known as Taxena, witnessed these events. She flies as fast as she can to inform the strange fellowship of the beast they must destroy.

I get to bear witness and not hobbits?  Boo.  I should at least get a wizard.
