Years, months and weeks are the same. only the seasons are not. Once Martin was asked how was this possible. Isn't a year defined by one turn of all seasons. He said: no. Isn't a year defined by one turn of all seasons. He said: no. A year is defined by one turn of earth around the sun. That would mean that the World of Westeros turns around the sun like the earth. I started with AGOT and just started keeping track of all the time clues in the text. Where there are no time clues, I estimate how long it would take to travel from place to place or how long it would take for a raven to fly from place to place.
