Rickon
I've been thinking of purchasing The Hedge Knight and The Sword Sword by George R R Martin, as I've only read the four Ice and Fire books, and want to catch up on my ASoIaF history. Will these stories be included as part of the upcoming Dreamsongs compilations that are going to be released soon? If not, then I was wondering what other options I have for getting hold of these stories. I was also wondering what the difference between GRRM: A RRetrospective and Dreamsongs is? Does anyone know where I can obtain a list of stories in these books? Thanks in advance!
OverHill
Here is the content from GRRM: A RRetrospective http://www.subterraneanpress.com/Merchant2...uct_Code=martin Dreamsongs and GRRM is the same book, but different publisher. The Hedge Knight was first published in Legends and The Sworn Sword in Legends II, both edited by Silverberg. Search Amazon. Btw, The Hedge Knight is also published as a graphic novel. Rickon
Nice, thanks for the link. So, I guess I'll be able to experience The Hedge Knight in either of these Dreamsongs volumes when they're released then? http://www.amazon.com/Dreamsongs-I-George-...6770308-4198558 http://www.amazon.com/Dreamsongs-II-George...6770308-4198558 I've heard about the graphic novel, but I thought it might be better to read the original first. Werthead
Assuming they've just split the book in half, The Hedge Knight will probably be in Volume II. The Sworn Sword is not in Dreamsongs though. It's only available in Legends II edited by Robert Silverberg for now. The third Dunk 'n' Egg story should see the light at the end of 2008 in a new anthology called Warriors, edited by GRRM and Gardner Dozois.
