Brude Posted November 14, 2008 Share Posted November 14, 2008 I'd like to see someone who is a comedian playing this role - partly because the right comedic timing could make the role both funny (I laughed at him in the book) and damn terrifying - comedians often play the scariest roles when they want to...you need to have a real darkness about you to be a good comedian, probably. Not that he's my choice for the role, but think about how creepy Robin Williams can be, or Michael Keaton (who's technically a comedic actor, but not really a comedian). He's got the necessary timing and will handle the lisp just fine. Everytime he speaks in the books I cant help but laugh. A evil bastard yes, but he also needs to be portrayed with udnertones of comic relief.
