I saw her in the stupid magazines everyone brings to work and she's looking very shapely (although still youthful and thin). The nudity would still be a problem, but body doubles would work. Ladies and Gents, I give you... Melisandre! Did I use too much red? :devil: Anyway, here's the source pic. The actress is Bryce Dallas Howard... I'm not sure she has the (um) endowments for the character as GRRM describes her, but she definitely has striking eyes and a cryptic smile. Blame Peter Jackson and The Lovely Bones for wedging this idea into my brain, where it refused to go away. I had to give it a shot... so without further ado, here she is, Siaorese Ronan as a book age correct (and thus unfilmable) version of Dany: Smile and Stand Up Straight. I checked the casting pools, and I don't think she ever came up as a possibility, which is kinda shocking.
