a_stark_in_winterfell
I Belong in ASOIAF and I can act!... As I posted in the 'can we cast us' thread, I would like the opportunity to audition. If you feel I have the look of a certain part PLEASE speak up to help me get a shot at being seen by the casting crew/David & Dan. I know it may seem unrealistic, fan turned character in the series, but I feel like I am meant to do this (maybe everybody feels that way but I must pursue it!) Venardhi
Personally, I'm not sure there is any role from the first book you fit perfectly. You might be able to do Lyanna, but her role would be essentially just that one short flash back and I'd assume they'll cast locally for that one considering the brevity of her appearance. I'd say Asha is the best fit, and personally one of my favorite characters. It would be an enormously entertaining role to play IMO and I'd rather see a perfect fit than an iffy one, even if it means you'd have to wait til a later season. . . Any chance of a video? Even something as simple as a webcam recording of a monologue might help. Good luck!
a_stark_in_winterfell
I agree she would be a ball! I'll get to work on a video.... so if dream of dreams happens Avery would end up feeling me up?
About Yea High
Yes. Yes he would. And he would like it, or else. I would personally cast you in an older role. Asha may be too young, in my opinion (I'm not going to ask a lady her actual age, but those pictures put you in your late 20's, if that). Maybe a sand snake. Though actually, your facial structure is closer to what I pictured in the Dornish princess, Arianne Martell. Do you tan easily?
a_stark_in_winterfell
i'm 23! and my voice sounds very young. But I would LOVE to play a sand snake! I do not tan easily... at all. I'm pale as can be. Actually have a fake tan in that full body one and was dark for me. Arianne Martell! Amazing... I would have fun with that
silmarilli
I agree with the above poster, I think you would be more suited to Arianne, one of the sand snakes, or possibly even Melisandre with the appropriate change of hair and eye color. a_stark_in_winterfell
I suppose the photos I provided are giving off the sultry vibe... that is how I tend to shoot for photos. I'm trying to put together something to record so you all can have more to judge by. Any thoughts on Irri or Doreah?
Ammena Piper
First impression: Osha reasoning: You look like you belong in the North. With your physique, you look like you could kick some serious butt if necessary. You look wise and kind. You have an interesting mix of being muscled and masculine (in the yin/yang way)... and yet a softness to your eyes. And you'd be in the first season. ;) I would love to see you do this scene: SPOILER: Book 1The Godswood scene with Bran. Starting at "You hear them boy?" ...and ending a couple pages at "... it's north he should be taking his swords. North, not south. You hear me boy?" Bran nodded. "I'll tell him." a_stark_in_winterfell
how tall is osha? I'm 5'3", usually between 120 & 130 lbs
Ammena Piper
She's supposed to be tall, but if you fit the role acting-wise, I for one wouldn't be bothered by it. Dunno about anyone else.
a_stark_in_winterfell
and i DO belong in the north. :agree: though if by some crazy gift from the universe I was considered for anything; camp follower, tyrion's sponge bath attendant, commoner No 76... I think I'd belong there happily
Tyro Lannister
How about Osha? I don't have a good description of Osha other than tall and lean, but I imagine her as being strong and hard looking, and you look to fit that description from your 2nd photo. There's also this artwork of Osha, done by Amok - "Considered the premier ASoIaF character portrait artist by the author and fans alike", quoted from the citadel. http://en.amokanet.ru/gallery/martin/martin_1095.html You seem to have a similar or similar enough face, as far as I can tell. Although in the artwork she has an ugly expression. And I think it is intended to imply a kind of hardness to her, and older, and perhaps on the not so good looking side.. and you are quite attractive, really in my opinion, but of a more common attractiveness.., so you would still fit her description well enough. Tyro Lannister
Osha is meant to be a head taller than Robb at the time of her capture in AGoT. I don't see it as being a very important thing to preserve though.
a_stark_in_winterfell
I think I could definitely do a hard Osha. I'll look through GOT tomorrow and play around with it.
Ser Scot A Ellison
I mean this as a complement I think you are too attractive to play Osha. I always thought of her as rather plain.
a_stark_in_winterfell
"She scarcely looked like a woman; tall and lean, with the same hard face as the others, her hair hidden beneath a bowl-shaped halfhelm" that's osha's initial discription
cybroleach
I could see Doreah. Definately not Irri she's dothraki who are one of the few peoples who are deciedly ethnic. There's not much in the way of discription for Doreah but since she was a sex slave she'd also have to look pretty good.

And if Avery gets Theon it would be like an incestuous grope since you are forum family. :grouphug:
King Nobody
I can picture you as Asha, but you would have to wait until the second season. Maybe lady Merryweather.

If cersei is in her mid thirties it may seem off but if she is younger I think it'd be a good fit, i imagine them of age with eachother.
