Should GRRM have a cameo role?

He's not going to have any significant speaking part, no. He's not an actor. He was in the background of a "Beauty and the Beast" episode or two, as I recall, and I won't be surprised if he's in a background scene in GoT; the feast scene in the pilot would be a good time to do something like that, I suppose. Or perhaps he'll be some background maester, glimpsed in passing in King's Landing or some such.

He should be lord Manderly.

I was thinking he'll end up being Lord Manderly's very quiet brother...the one so quiet, GRRM forgot to mention him in the books but he was there the whole time...or at least until he got brutally cut down at the Wispering Wood (or was it the Green Fork?).

I think the whole BwB should have cameos. We'd make awesome wildlings. Or corpses.

We should be so lucky.

I think he'll probably make it into a feast scene or two. Maybe one of the weddings. Though i really like Werthead's idea of a statue.
