Ski the Swift
So about that tanker leaking oil into the reef...I've got to agree with Bob Brown on this one, not requiring ships to have a pilot onboard while travelling through such an environmentally sensitive area is just madness. In footy-related news my tiges seem determined to give me a heart attack this year, thats twice in a few weeks I've nearly turned the tv off in disgust only for them to go on to win. It looks like its going to be an interesting year...Like a Tiger! My old man is a Tiges supporter, so I am by default also. They've been going alright this season, I hope they can carry it all the way through though.

Ski the Swift
mate did you even see the bit about the ship on the reef?Yes I did, they shouldn't of even been traveling in there in the first place. So whether or not they had a pilot is irrelevant. What can I say? I'm a passionate rugby league supporter?
brook
The tigers give people very little to gloat about, when we're doing well it pays to take every chance ;-)I'm trying not to let my hopes get too high, that team has a way of breaking my heart but we do have a good squad this year even though we still don't really have a halfback we should be dangerous. adamsputnik
Hope everyone is enjoying the Easter (or Ä’ostre for GS ;) ) weekend. OldLordPlumm
Brookthat sounds like the sort of thing that would be good on Today Tonight or something. Great recruiting for the AFL in sydney. Makes NRL look like they're more concerned about raising the next generation of elite players who go around drinking, spewing and raping (allegedly) girls. brook
yeah I've drafted a letter that will be going out...somewhere. I have yet to decide just who to send it to, I've got a friend who is a smh journalist and another who works for the NRL so I think I'll be talking to both. Its actually a bit of a mess and I'm undecided about how much trouble I want to cause, the team manager is one of the more involved mums at my sons school who is friends with lots of the other mums where I know absolutely noone so I worry about what could happen to him socially as a result. On the other hand I feel I can't just let it go entirely, I feel like I owe it to the little guy to make some sort of a stand for him and I really hate to feel that this is going to keep going on. It just seems so cruel when you're talking about a team full of 4 and 5 year olds.A few of the other local clubs did get back to me and seemed to have an entirely different attitude, unfortunantly they were all either too full or train in places I can't get to. One club did offer to organise a lift for us to training with another parent but because of the younger boys thats not going to work out.

Paxter
DOCKERS FOR PREMIERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Unbelievable game. I've completely lost my voice and my neighbours probably think I'm an idiot...but it's not every season that my team is 3 from 3 and sitting pretty at the top . Ski the Swift
I'd just like to point out the Wests Tigers on the NRL leaderboard, RAWH!!!! I'm really hoping these guys can consistently play this good.

I'm really hoping these guys can consistently play this good.My biggest worry at the moment is the injuries are starting to build up. Moltzen is a loss but I'm not so stressed about that as the Balmain state cup half is in great form but with Galloway, Payton and Cayless out our front row is looking light.Still at least they're all short term losses at this stage (other than Moltzen).Bulldogs next week, Robbie gets to show Ennis up for the pretender he is :)

Every game the Tigers have gone into so far they have been paying more then the other team, that may change this week. What are your thoughts on Lote? He's been a good grab for the Tigers, nothing quite like Timana going back to the Eels. Let's face it, what has he done compared to Lote? :P
brook
Yeah Lote has been a brilliant signing. He's already forming a very dangeros combination with Lawrence too, I can see a lot of teams are going to struggle to contain those two this year.
