Edda van Heefmstra Ruston
Yes, Eastern time. I'm already setting my alarm for 7:30 Central time, as I have a tendency to forget that hour difference....
Bubs
I was hoping for another preview with Boardwalk Empire ~ never imagined we'd get one sooner!*crosses fingers for a sneak peek of Dany*
jurble
What HBO channel does this stuff show on? I have like 10 of them.
Ran
Regular HBO, not HBO 2, HBO Zone, HBO Signature, etc.

Yagathai
I hope it's not just the teaser we've already seen.
Ran
My understanding is that it's a new teaser, or possibly even a longer trailer. They'll also be sending us a new publicity still, which will certainly not be a rehash.

Poobah
So when is this coming to BBC?
Ran
It is, alas, not coming to the BBC any time soon. Sky has locked up exclusive rights to air HBO's programming in the U.K. for the next several years.
Poobah
Erm, what the fuck? I thought this was another BBC-HBO thing ala Rome?Fuck you Sky and fuck you Rupert Murdoch you old right wing piece of shit.
Brude
Erm, what the fuck? I thought this was another BBC-HBO thing ala Rome?Fuck you Sky and fuck you Rupert Murdoch you old right wing piece of shit. The BBC apparently pulled out of this project quite some time ago, but nothing was announced and word only came out about that after the Sky deal was announced. Werthead
Erm, what the fuck? I thought this was another BBC-HBO thing ala Rome?It appears that this was initially on the cards but Sky made HBO a better offer. The cut in the BBC's budget also possibly played a role. And yeah, it is bad news. If this had been on the BBC GoT would have been one of the big, heavily-talked about shows of next year. On Sky it'll be yet another American import 90% of the potential audience can't watch :(
jurble
AMERICA WILL SUFFICE.
Poobah
Well that sucks.
Renasko
Sorry, Poobah. I have Sky myself, but I'm not psyched about this. The ads are going to kill any kind of momentum the show gains. Can you imagine an ad following the Red Wedding? Dear god! Televisions will be broken.
Isis
Erm, what the fuck? I thought this was another BBC-HBO thing ala Rome?Fuck you Sky and fuck you Rupert Murdoch you old right wing piece of shit. It's better that it's on Sky than not shown in the UK at all.
