What is the sex scene you want to see?

I guarantee you that this scene will NOT be filmed as written in the book. Sophie Turner is only just 14 (or soon will be) and will be very much underage when they get there which obviously means no nudity. There are ways to communicate the sadness of the event without seeing Tyrion's "man-staff".

Keira Knightley appeared topless in the movie 'The Hole' when she was 16 (with parental permission). She also walked (fully clothed) through a changing room full of teenage boys naked on the showers - some of whom appear to have full erections (which is usually a major no-no outside of porno movies).

Although that's British law (where the series is being filmed) rather than American law (where it's being paid for), so they might feel the need to body double it... depends whether they're scared of negative publicity or nor.

All this sexy talk brings back to my mind something that I've being wondering myself once I saw how the reshooting of the pilot was getting more extensive every week.

I mean, originally, when the greenlight was announced, the plan was to reshoot Catelyn's scenes only.

Then, with Dany being recast (plus Illyrio, plus the move to Malta, plus a more muscled Momoa), all the Essos scenes had to be redone.

Then, the scrapped Arryn flash-back is back on.

Later, we're informed that the whole prologue is reshot.

It seems also that new dialogue was added to characters with no-speaking lines (particularly Sansa) in the leaked pilot script, although maybe that changed already when they filmed the original pilot, because we don't have any information about how final was that draft.

Recently, reports of extras commented that scenes with Ned and puppies have been filmed outdoors, suggesting that the finding of the direwolfs could have be reshot.

All of this make me thing that about 70% or more of the pilot have been redone. Could they have also filmed again the sex scene between Cercei and Jaime? Lena Headey was pregnant last November and a body double was used, so maybe this time we'll get the real deal.

If they do a book a season and each season is seperated by a year she should be of age to do such a scene by the time they get to ASOS.

I wasn't even thinking about the nudity in that scene. I do believe it can be filmed in such a way as to be implied but not seen. I twas more the dialogue and emotions in that scene that should be a sex scene, but isn't. I know that isn't really in the spirit of this thread, so I will leave now :P

I'll admit it was unpleasant to read, but plenty of couples do risk sex while the woman is still on her period, and George seems to take pleasure in presenting the dirty details of life
What do you mean by 'risk' in this context? Are you referring to the risk of pregnancy or some other other risk?

The John Arryn scene in the leaked script was not a flashback, it was just a scene with him lying dead in a room in the Red Keep with Cersei and Pycell having a discussion over his body. Because they've cast a fairly well known actor for the role, the assumption is that we'll be seeing some flashback scenes of him while he's alive (this might have been confirmed by GRRM, I'm not quite sure). Had it just been a shot of him dead, they would have used an extra for that, not an expensive, professional actor.

I think pretty much all of the pilot, probably more like 80% if not 100%, is being reshot. It's almost certain they will have to reshoot the Cersei/Jaime/Bran scene because by the time of the series shoot, Isaac Hempstead Wright, who plays Bran, was close to a year older and probably looks a fair bit different.

Ok, thanks for the info. I always resisted the temptation of reading the leaked script. Anyway, if they decided to keep that bit, the'd have to reshoot it because Pycelle role has being recast. So there.

Well, As hopeful as I might be for the reshooting of the love scene, I don't think the current looks of Isaac are relevant to the decision, because probably Isaac wasn't in the shooting that day in first place. I surely doubt they shot a sex scene with a kid present. I guess the Bran/Jaime/Cercei scene was shot in a different day and both adult actors were wrapped with a blanket or something.

And talking about the pilot reshooting, and in the spirit of this thread, they better don't touch Esme Bianco scene (except to extend it, that is).

Actually, the scene was cut from the pilot shoot, probably to save money and a whole day of shooting is my guess. The content of the scene was not necessary for the pilot to make sense, though it does work better in the context of a whole series to introduce Pycell (and Cersei).

Well, yes and no - while it is possible to match shots from scenes shot very far apart (and it gets done in a pinch) it also isn't very easy. It's much easier in many cases to just reshoot the the whole thing again to make sure it all matches well. No, Isaac was certainly not present for any nude scenes, but it is still a matter of matching shots well, which is a lot easier to do later the same day or a day later, rather than a year later.

which will help introduce Tyrion's character in a more HBO way.

Why not just an entire episode devoted to hot, steamy, Hodor orgies?

Honestly, it'd be a refreshing change to hear, "HODOR! HODOR! HOOODOOOOOOOR!" instead of, "God! Oh god! OH GOD!!!!!"

The problem is that usually women are the ones experiencing a religious epiphany during the process. Instead, we men lose all ability of juggling a vocabulary and we set for cavemanish groans.
